Lakewood Country Club
About
Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Good Place To Practice
This is an executive golf course. The Par 4"s are less than 300 yds. The tee shots from the back tees generally average between 120-30 yds. The greens are rather bumpy and rather slow. However, this was a very good place for practice. I was able to play by myself and therefore, I played two balls easily keeping up with the twosome in front of me. I need to go out there everyday to play a round like this in order to improve/practice my game/shots. It would be too expensive to play a course like this for what I paid. I'm used to playing good championship courses for what I paid here.
Nice little executive golf course!
If you looking for a small easy go l for course that can be played in about 3 hours, then this is the course to play.
Retirement course.
Essentially a par three course. Not overly nice. Slow pace of play. Longest hole is 304 yards and I think that was a stretch.
It was ok
For the price it’s great but in terms of pace and quality of play it’s poor. People were stacked on each other due to stacked tee times.
Great course
Love this course
Perfect for improving your short game. Even though it is a short course it can still be a challenge
Great for Iron workout
This is a great course if your looking to improve your iron play and short game . Tiny greens make it a challenge for any level of golfer . Better alternative than hitting two large buckets at the range which would cost you $10 less !!
Get what you pay for!
It was super fun, we had a great time. The course is very short, so we played 9 holes in about 90 mins. Maybe less. The staff does bare minimum, but they were nice. I will play this course a lot because it’s fun and quick and cheap. Great for beginners/intermediate golfers.
Great day at lakewood
Great to play, many par 3 a few par 4. Enough variety and water to get our attention. Great value for cost
Our favorite short game warm up
Each time we visit family in Naples, we start our golf at Lakewood. The small greens and tight par 4s make for a great way to tune up the short game before we play the longer courses.
