El Rio Golf Course in Fort Myers is a player-friendly layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's an ideal course for beginners who are looking to get in some practice on a full-length course. The layout consists of mostly par 3s and most of the holes are on the shorter side. Though it's a seemingly simple design, the greens have slopes that range from subtle to dramatic, which can make determining your approach to them a daunting task. Good Value, Friendly Staff
It’s a fun course to go for a quick round, it does have a few par 4’s but there is no need for driver anywhere on the course. The pace was good, I was pretty crowded for a twilight tee time but because each hole was basically a Par 3 it wasn’t a long wait if at all. Great for knocking off rust or for a newer player.

Good for practice
If you're looking for a place to just get out to knock off rust, you found it. Don't play if cost is over $36, and prepare for extremely slow ply
Had to wait 45 minutes tee time waiting for golf cart.
Some well designed holes. Greens were reasonably well maintained.

Mgmt needs to increase the time bw tee times especially since most holes are par 3s. Tee boxes & fairways are in rough shape. Greens are relatively nice but slow. Not a bad tract to work on your irons and short game.

Short course
This course would be good for young or novice players. Only used my driver on 2 tee boxes. Most shirt par 3's i have ever seen on a course.
A pretty tight executive course.
The grains and fairways could use a little work tea boxes or not too good either. It’s an easy course and not too expensive. A good place to practice your irons.
