El Rio Golf Course in Fort Myers is a player-friendly layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Best bang for the buck
SW Florida golf rates during peak "snowbird" season have spiked and it can be difficult to find reasonable green fees. El Rio is a fun track that won't "break the bank" & is fun to play & work on your short game.
Give it a try when you are in the area.
The staff is also very friendly.
Love playing this course
Pace of play was a little slow, but no complaints. It was a beautiful day to be out.

Cheap way to practice short game
Expect slow play as many non golfers play this course. Easy and short.

Much improved course
The course is in much better shape than two years ago.
The sand traps have real sand in them and are well cared for.
The fairways are in good condition and the greens also.
Great little executive course
Took a friend there for his first time and we had a very relaxing 18 holes and he agreed it was a great value for the price.
Very tricky
Some par 3 holes are not easy to play. This course needs to play target golf.

Fun Executive Course
There are many different length par 3's, so each tee shot is different. Although the par 4's are not terribly long, some are straight, others require a draw and others a fade. The course is in great condition. The staff is very friendly. This is a very enjoyable course to play.
Fort Myers staole
Usually busy in the early morning, especially after the snow birds arrive in January, however, pace of play is good . Really good staff. Course layout.is great for iron play and coupled with the par 4' , its makes for an enjoyable time. I am usually a single but have no problem hooking up with golfers who are great folks.

The staff took care of us as soon as we walked in. Friendly and explained the course layout and rules.
Was an older clubhouse with few amenities, but well taken care of. The greens needed some work but the fairways were in pretty good shape. Wasn’t real crowded so play pace was good.
