El Rio Golf Course in Fort Myers is a player-friendly layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Expensive so so course
Very slow group in front of us. Tees in rough condition.

The reason I wouldn't recommend this course right now is the condition it's in.
It appears to be getting worse instead of better. The fairways are in tough shape as are the greens. Greens are hard and bare.
18th hole has the best green and fringe, and that's it. Not sure why it's like this but definitely needs TLC. I like the course for iron practice and for beginners it's just the right length to enjoy your round.
The sand/dirt traps are in need of fresh sand. Someone needs to step in a correct these poor conditions before it's too late.
Fun Executive Course
The greens were quick and there was lots of water so plenty challllenging except for the par fours. I shot 2 over on the back and was chipping on the par fours on my second shot.

Gets a bad rap!
Heard it was scruffy but we enjoyed the course. It’s basically a par three course with a few short par fours added. Great short game tune up.
Average executive course
Short course. Greens were in bad conditions. Layout ok but not very challenging. Good for the money ( 10$) as hot deal.
Good to practice short irons.
Course in below average condition. Good place to practice short game. Played 28 in two hours
Great Afternoon
Perfect weather, friendly staff and the lack a crowd generated a wonderful day of golf with my wife.
Recovering from Irma
This course got hit hard from Irma. Several weeks later and what an improvement! Nice work by the grounds crew. The greens still need some time to get healthy but the fairways are well groomed. It's a good course for beginners / intermediate players or if you want to work on your iron play. 18 holes can be played in 2 hrs without rushing, and cold refreshments await you at the clubhouse. The range and practice green are a plus. All in all its a fun day!

Fun par 3 course. It's in good shape. Not a lot of challenges but it is a fun course for the money.

course was getting back from hurricane was nice to see it back open. hot as usaual for FLA
Good Course
This is a good intermediate course, but they had just sanded the greens so made for very fast putting. Otherwise it was a very good course.
Nice greens
Good fairways. Shots have to be well placed to avoud water or getting stynied behind trees near the cart paths. Greens r a little slow, play for a foot or two past the hole. Keep sand wedge handy around the greens. Driver can be used on a couple of holes keeping you interested. Enjoyable day out
