El Rio Golf Course in Fort Myers is a player-friendly layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Not a piece of cakel
A course that is a challenge with greens that are sloped and pitched enough to add that extra bit of difficulty
Great condition
For mid-May, in semi-drought conditions, the fairways and greens are in great shape! We have enjoyed playing this short, but challenging course and will go back soon, and the price is certainly right!
Golf now tee time
I played this course for the third time in a few years, the weather was hot, not many playing this afternoon, good value for 12 per round.
great condition and no slow play. fairways are close together, be careful ofwild balls.
I'd play this course anytime
Needs Some Work
This executive course needs some help from the clubhouse to the course itself. They are not very friendly once you enter and it feels almost like you are bothering them.
Money needs to be funneled back into the clubhouse and definitely the course. Almost like playing in somebody's back yard.
Enjoyed this course.
My husband and I are just average golfers, and found this course perfect for us.

A good course for the not so serious golfer. We are an older couple and enjoyed the course. Played in 3 hours waited some but not a big deal and would play again
To dangerous for me
Friendly staff here. Pace of play was good considering how busy it was but almost got hit by several golf balls on the back nine. Front nine was fine. Greens were below average but held fine.
It was a golf day
.No where to park at facility. Had to park across the street in grass. Had to wait for carts and guard our turn. Fairways poor condition. Greens were terrible, bare mostly. January was very wet, but everywhere else we have played was in much better shape. Holes are pretty tight next to each other, two occasions of very near misses being struck.
Too many players scheduled. Par 60 took nearly 4.5 hours.

The course design is very dangerous. Lucky to come back alive. Tees and greens are way too close. Balls where flying over are heads all day. The 10th fairway and driving range are overlapping almost lost my life twice. Fairways and greens are terrible. What can I say!! They would have to pay me to play this golf course again.

Wear A Hard Hat
Very poor course layout. Example is the 10th hole runs parallel to the driving range with no protection. Too many parallel fairways and golf balls flying into your fairway often.
Rain out
We were rained out due to all the rain we had recently and the course conditions. The good thing is the staff contacted us first thing in the a.m. to reschedule our golf. I was very pleased that they contacted us, before we had to contact them. We.really like this course and the staff is always accommodating and friendly. We look forward to playing as soon as the sun comes back out...
Slow pace of play
The pace of play is extremely slow even for an executive course
Reasonable Value
This is a Par 60 track that is in ok shape. The course of play as very slow. If not for the GolfNow rate we would have been very unhappy .
While I would recommend the course to others it would have to be at tle low GolfNow rate.
