Country Club of Silver Springs Shores

Course was an great conditions. Greens are in excellent condition. Staff is always nice. Bar has great choices for beer and excellent prices. Been coming here for years. Great lay out! Must play course in the area.

Keep in mind regular Thursday afternoon scramble is scheduled at 5pm. I was unaware of it , so was unable to take advantage of 3:30 tee time I had booked for 18 holes.

Too bad. I enjoy playing this course.

Whilst I would recommend the course, the pace of play was not good, waiting on each hole. In conversation with staff, this is the case for morning play on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I look forward to going back at other times.

The cart paths were so bad they were almost un-driveable. The greens were terrible. The fairways were like the roughs I normally play. The clubhouse was a rundown dump. Avoid this place!

Staff was extremely friendly. Pro shop, ranger, cart, and beverage cart personnel were exceptional. Course was in the best shape!

We enjoyed the golf course except for playing behind a sixsome for nine holes with no ranger on the premises to monitor. It was awful that they wouldn’t let us play thru until hole #10.

The course was in better shape than a year ago

I will probably play it again. It was a bit windy so it was hard to play well

First, you might need a rock crawler to negotiate the cart trails. They are rough and broken.

You need to be accurate from tee box to green. The fairways are in average shape and on somie holes you will find it difficult to drive into a flat lie. Downhill, uphill, below and above the feet lies are common on some holes. Many of the greens are plateaued and if you're close to the edge you just might find yourself at the bottom pitching back up to the green. The greens are the best part of this course, They are in very good condition and roll well but you need to attack them from a high trajectory with spin to keep your ball on the green.

Great challenging course in very nice shape. Greens are great and fun. Don't get on wrong side of some of these greens. You will pay with a 3 putt for sure. Overall great day. Worth the time to play here.

Perfect day weatherwise, and they didn't cram us on the course, so pace of play was pretty good. This course has a nice variety of holes, with more water than I remembered. The greens are very good, they would be nasty if they were super fast, lots of undulation in them. Lots of tight lies in the fairways and near the greens, but that is normal this time of year. We will go back soon.

Had to wait 10-15 minutes for a cart, Slow play a lot of twosome not being paired up.

Interesting course layout great greens fairways so-so. Pace of play too slow.

Challenging course and always in really good shape.
