Was pleasantly pleased with condition of course this time of year(October). Nice price for a public course. Nice staff.

Great course. Good condition. A few spots on a couple of greens. Overall very nice ad usual.

Our first time playing. The course is nice and wide open. Great value for the price.

Course in nice shape despite wet conditions. Greens roll nice. A feww fixed spots but overall good. Fun layout. Greens hold nice. Will always play here.

Enjoy this course, however, do not suggest playing on a holiday. Course was slow, lots of folks who I don't think have played much golf, zero etiquette observing them drive across tee boxes, kids running across open fairways and carts on green approaches. Suggest the course have a marshal during holiday plays. Was odd no on course golf cart services, could have made hundreds on this hot day with all the people on the course.

Course could be a nice course if it was mowed. Lost my ball several times 5 feet off the fairways. Greens where just punched I understand that so can't say much about the greens. The guy at the pro shop wouldn't get off the phone with his mom until we approached him to buy some drinks the golf carts had no cooler on them and the sand was all mud in the ball repair buckets.

As a kid in Ocala 60 years ago we drove by this course many times. Though I wasn't that interested in golf at the time I was always enamored with the beauty of this course. For my 68th birthday this year I decided to play it with my youngest son. First, I must say it is one of the best bargains around. At $25 with the features on this course and some really nice rolling greens, it's easily five-star for value. On top of that, our encounters with golf staff were fantastic and they are very helpful and seem glad to be there. Encounters with restaurant staff are another story. We never encountered any. When I'm willing to give you my money and you're not there to take it, I'll give it to someone else. There were some guys playing cards and appeared to be a person in the kitchen when we arrived who later came out and never looked at us or acknowledged us. They were open but AWOL so we took off. Only other negative experience was two holes we had to stop and wait for the sprinklers to stop. Groundskeeper told us they had to water some pesticide in. I have no problem with that, but they should have done it before I showed up to play golf on their course. That kept them from a five-star review in my book. My son told me today he wants to play again and I'm in total agreement!

For the most part greens and fairways were in good condition. Only a couple of greens had bad spots. Fairways were dry and trim neatly

I travel to this course from Gainesville and love playing here. Course is well payed out and provides plenty of challenges. Will continue to play here.

As usual it was a great experience. Course, other than having grass cuttings left in fairway, was in excellent shape. Staff does a really good job in maintaining conditions and are a friendly group. You can count on a consistently great experience.

Enjoyed great day of golf course was great greens had been aerated and a bit slow. Staff friendly course nice all be it a bit hot and humid. Will play again
