Ocala Golf Club

This course was in very good condition particularly for a municipal course. The staff is very friendly and the pace of play was pretty good. Lots of clean restrooms throughout the facility. Limited options in the snack bar. The pro shop was well stocked particularly for men, but pricing is reasonable especially on golf balls.

The set up is wide open fairways for the most part with a few elevated greens. Five par 3’s and five par 5’s, but fairways and greens were in fairly good shape and rough was not super penalizing. Cement cart paths are in great shape. No “trick” holes, but on the back around hole #14 it is a bit confusing to navigate.

Overall we had an excellent round for slightly better than average, senior golfers (a couple). One of the nicer municipal courses we have played and a good bargain for the money.

This is a nice and well-kept course. I've already played it again and will probably play it regularly the rest of the summer.

A really nice course with a challenging hilly front 9 and a solid flat back 9. Front has 3 each par 3,4,5 and a “regular” back with 2 par 3’s, 2 par 5’s and the 4 par 4’s

Fairways and greens were in great shape. Staff were awesome. Driving range as well as chipping green with traps makes it a good all inclusive experience.

They have too tracer range but it’s only available for monthly membership. Course is over an hour from me.

Overall a great track we would play again!!

I found out when I checked in the course was a municipal course (City owned) I was pleasantly surprised by the course conditions. Very high quality conditions on the course almost a private quality conditions. Greens were very receptive and had some speed to them. There were patches on some greens that needed attention but overall the course was in very good condition. I will definitely come back again and play and maybe bring some friends next time! Kudos Ocala Golf Club!

Always in great shape, with many different tee boxes to provide all levels of golfers the challenge that they want.

Never played here before. Tried b/c it was a Hot Deal. Pace of play was slow. No grass under your ball in the fairways. The rough is weeds, bare spots and tree ruts. Greens were surprisingly decent. Just no fun constantly hitting off hard pan to get to them. Walked off after 4 holes. Won’t be back.

We enjoyed the golf course! Everyone was friendly and helpful! The course was challenging but enjoyable!. We will return to play here!
