They are keeping the course in very good shape and the greens are very true.

I have no idea how this course could be 4 star rated. I played it about 5 years ago and thought it to be okay but it has deteriorated. Fairways are sparce. Rough is mostly just dirt.

For the course being extremely busy that day it was ran fairly smooth. It is a great course to play and is well maintained. There were a lot of staff that were going around to keep up with maintaining. Overall, a great course to play. The women in the 19th hole restaurant were very friendly and welcoming .

No idea why this was a 4 star course. Grass was dead, greens had a lot of dead spots. I think there is potential with a new grounds crew and better club house personel. Bought a golf now deal which includeded range balls on every time slot and the club house attendant tryed making me pay. Wasn't satisfied, I liked the price but will stay in Orlando.

it was kinda crazy at 1st tee,there had been a frost delay,was fine after first few holes. Greens are very fast/slick took some getting used too. nice course overall,would play there again

For a Muni, this course gives you all you can handle including 4 sets of tees for men. That allows you to bite off as much of a challenge as you have the nerve for.

Course design makes excellent use of elevation changes and water. Courteous and pleasant staff. Overall experience great value for the price.

Loved the contoured greens and tight fring around the greens. Sand was really nicely managed, as were the beautiful fairways. You could maybe put up a score here, but it can also eat your lunch if you don't putt and chip well. I went home without having had lunch...

I have been playing this course for a long time and it is in the best shape compared to more expensive courses well worth it besides being held up a lot everything was great starter needs to focus on the tee times and get them moving and not stand on the tee box for 20 minutes

The golfcourse has a very nice design and layout. Quality of the Tboxes, fairways and greens is very good.

There was no indication on Golf Now that they were working on front nine and we will play back nine twice. The manager did give us a $5 rebate. The condition of the 9 holes were excellent and the staff were helpful. This is a level course with championship greens. Fast with subtle breaks so be careful especially with downhill putts.

As one of the courses on the Florida Historic Golf Trail, I sought this course out to play. It has a great old feel to it . Wide open without much trouble anywhere. Very straight forward. Greens were fast and very puttable. Fairways were in fine shape and the rough didn't swallow your ball. Love the "old, historic" feel of this course. Will I be back, YES. Especially since my 80 year old Father liked playing this course also. We had a great time there.

Conditions have improved here dramatically since I last plaited here 2 months ago. Greens were excellent ans fairways and fee boxes were lush

We play this course more frequently of late and have come to enjoy it very much. It's kept up, the greens are great (very fast) and it's lots of fun!

I have played this course since 1980, I now live in tampa and had not played it in over a year. I noticed a very negative article in the Ocala paper concerning course condtions 1 week prior to my round . I played anyway because this is one of my all time favorite tracks. I was very pleasantly surprised. Course was absolutely in above average condition for this time of year.

Fairways and greens in good condition for all the heavy rains we had.

First time we played at this coarse. All the greens except one were in excellent shape. Fairways were very nice and in great shape. I would recommend this coarse to anyone.

A very enjoyable round. The course was in much better condition than most in the area.
