Ocala Golf Club

This is the best Hot Deal course I've played this year.

Pace of play was great,played in 3 and a half hrs. only three greens had some rough spots.No ranger on the course so play can be slow at times.

This course used to be the Ocala muni course. They changed their name to improve their image, so I wasn't expecting too much. But this is a lovely course with plenty of challenges. Most of the holes are lovely to look at. The fairways were a little rough, but most courses in central Florida are like that now as the winter grasses make room for the summer grasses. The greens were rolling true. All in all a very nice experience and we will definetly play this course again.

This is a nice course with several challenging holes. Would play again even though play was backed up10-15 minutes at each hole.

We had nothing but a good experience with this course

My buddy and I were visiting the area on our way to Miami to catch a cruise ship and decided to golf along the way. Arrived early to hit some balls and saw the place was very busy. Pro shop attendant was friendly and helpful. Starter paired us with a local single who was friendly and helpful. Pace of play was slow on front 9 but much better on the back. Snack bar gal was super and got us back out on the course quickly at the turn. Good course experience by all.

Fairways still a little space, but then it was still January.

The "Muni" is a very good place to play, fairly difficult but manageable, good value for price.

Ocala Golf Club is a welcoming place. Course attendants and young man behind the desk very cordial. Enjoyed the 3-9 cut on tees. Mow that Ovs'ed Emerald .015 lower and then we're talkin' ;)

Ocala golf club is greatly improved since the makeover 2 years ago. It is in very good shape as well.

Enjoyed my round, course is in great shape and the pace of play was wonderful.

The course was in great shape. The checking experience was easy, pro shop was super friendly.

Best course in town. If you lose a ball here, it is because of the water you hit it in.

Pace of play was very slow- I had to wait on every hole on the back nine- they need an ambassador to remind players to pick up the pace or let them play thru

We found the fairways pristine and most the greens to be in the same condition, the bunkers were full of sand and everything was in great shape other than 3-4 green.

I live 3 mins from this course and consider my home course. They do an amazing job of maintaining the course, considering how much play it gets. The staff is super friendly from the front desk to the lunch counter and the head pro Kevin, is an excellent instructor if you're looking for some lessons.

Course in need of water and maintenance. Greens were not overseeded for winter. Lots of unfilled divots and ballmarks. Fairly easy and short course with some moderate elevation changes. Greens were bumpy, slow and in overall poor condition. Nice sand in bunkers however. Slow play with lots of walkers.

Very disappointed in the conditions. Greens are patchy; slow; bumpy.

#1 tee box too close to cart loading

The staff was very friendly. We teed it up at about 11:30 and played our round in three hours. The greens were very nice and the bunkers had tons of thick, smooth sand that I could not get out of. The fairways are nice and wide and in good shape. Great value. I would have put value for money higher but the rating bars on this website are a lot more difficult then the golf course.
