Greens and fairways are in good shape. Bunkers could use more sand.

Without that discount i would not have been happy with this course. Fairways are decent and the greens are fine IF you pound your putts.. The first time I played here the bunkers were washed out and not fit for play. Bad weather the night before i guess. The second time I played it the bunkers were fine. Keep your ball in the fairway , the rough is deep.. The Starters need to do a better job pairing people up. They try to accommodate you but i saw too many pairs and singles being let go off the first tee.. All in All its a decent place to play and i will go back.

The course is most always in pretty decent shape, fairways nice, greens are nice and most always fast and undulating. Over all I would rate it an 8.

As one of the oldest courses in Marion Co., Ocala Golf Club offers a well maintained course at a great value. The course has a little bit of everything, elevation changes, water, sand, etc. Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy this course. My wife and I have played here many times and the only disappointment is with my own level of play.

Great value. Medium length layout that hosts many of the areas top end amateur events.

Nice soft greens they held the ball good and rolled true.
