By far, the best overall, value in the area...Fairways, greens and tee boxes in great shape for a public access course; with many tee options for all levels...Facility/clubhouse beautifully appointed and consideration for abundant wildlife...a “Go-To” destination every time as a golf choice!
Great conditions and fun course
The course is in excellent shape - well maintained and fun to play
A great course
The course has some water, a beautiful layout. Bunkers are tough but fair. Definitely recommend.
Beautiful course with lots of challenges
Nice layout, great shape with good practice facilities. Great pace too
Early Sunday morning
I played early Easter Sunday as a twosome and didn’t wait at all. Course was in excellent condition. Greens were very fast and ran true. Would for sure come back.
Hidden Gem
It’s a bit of a hike west to get here, but worth the trek. Greens were in fantastic shape and a very friendly staff. Definitely some very quirky holes, but a lot of fun. Front 9 is open with lots of water, back 9 goes into the woods a bit and has much more character.
Course is in Graf shape
I caught a hot deal on GolfNow and found a gem in Sandhill Crane. I was a single and was paired up with a twosome. We played 18 in 3 hours. The course was in great condition...tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly. The GPS on the cart was operational and a big help. The greens were fast.
Nice course in great shape
Consistently in great shape, the course is challenging yet fair. The new clubhouse is very nice and good food options.
Claude.
Our best course of the week
From the Gold tees, the layout is incredible.
Actually everything is incredible.
Very tough target golf !
Great course. Fairways and greens in great shape. Greens are fast. Course. layout is challenging with water, sand traps and trees. Fairways are not too wide so ball placement on some holes are a challenge. Best conditioned course I have played so far. Would recommend this course to anyone. Somewhat pricey unless you get a deal on golf now.
Great course
Disappointed that there is no way to contact golf now. The husband of the couple we we were to play with ended up in the hospital on the day before. No way to get any consideration. Cost $262 god the two of us.
worth it
course is in great shape, greens are quick and in good shape . the staff in the pro shop is terrific. overall one of the best public course in the area.
A public gem
Played this course several years ago and it was ok. This time candidly didn't realize where I was playing but was very very surprised to see the turn around this track has made both in the condition of the course and the quality of food.
Probably helped that I shot 74. That said a great place, great people! Special kudos to Jim from the Bronx. A character and great ambassador! Will certainly be back when I am in town again
Have played here for years. Prices continue to soar and there are less expensive, better courses available. The Hot DeAL price was higher than 4 other semi-private courses within 5 to 15 miles.
Great course in excellent condition
Fun course with plenty of difficulty in great shape.
Great Fun Course
Played on a Saturday in 4 hours. We were a twosome so we waited a couple of holes. All good. Only minor complaint would be the cart girl. Just drove by us twice without ever looking at us. One time while my wife was on the tee box here she came right up the cart path just as she was swinging. The staff must explain the proper etiquette on golf course manners. Not only did she not get a $15.00 tip, I never got some drinks. Will go back though because the course is enjoyable.
