major league golf course
this course is always in good shape, greens are excellent and staff is the best
The course is in excellent shape
The course, the staff, the pace all excellent and the restaurant is very good too.
Beautiful
This course is amazing and when you consider it’s a town owned course it’s just mind blowing. The only downside of the course is a strange double dog leg par 5 hole on the back 9. Otherwise a tremendous track worthy of play!
Perfect!
Course was amazing. Great shape. New clubhouse and restaurant very nice. Oh, and here’s a new one...the marshalls actually do their job and push people to maintain pace. Very refreshing.
Aweseom Course with Fantastic Greens
This was my first time playing Sandhill Crane Golf Club. I loved the course and will definately play again if I am in the area. Price is a little too much compared to other courses in the area, but the course is great
The greens were fantastic. Fast, smooth, very fun non-repaired ball marks and rolled true. The course is laid out on a beautiful piece of land with lots of natural beauty and wildlife.
The driving range was hitting from mats into a lake with floating range balls. I don't like to hit from mats, but it was fun hitting into the water and the floating targets. Great clubhouse.
Take the opportunity and go play the course. You will not regret it.
Very nice round
They have put a lot of money and effort into this course over the last couple years and have brought it to being one of the top public courses in the county. If you have not played here in a while, give it a new try. The greens today were simply outstanding. Fast and true, with a nice amount of contour to make it interesting. And the course is laid out on a beautiful piece of land.
Tough course, great fun
The course is in excellent shape and the total experience is great. New clubhouse is beautiful and food is superior
Fair
everything seems to be in front of you, typical Florida layout
Nice layout, beautiful views, lots of wildlife
A challenging course in a beautiful wildlife setting. New clubhouse features good food and stocked pro shop
Very fun day
Enjoyed this course. Only down was the practice facility where we had to hit balls into the water. Course was fairly tight as you had to be concerned with other golfers hitting into you on a few holes.
If you got the money go.
Third time I “try” to play this course and I can’t finish 18 holes pace of play is terrible the starters get bribed into letting people jump from tee times to tee times. There is no staff on course and when you are paying 57 dollars to play 18 holes.... I want to finish and play all 18. There was a group of 5 in front today. 2 carts 4 peoples and a walker that paid off the manager and starter to play and have a kid caddie for her. Rediculaous and really upset. Then at 6 with daylight left I was told I can’t play the 18th hole because they are closed well if they didn’t have such terrible starters that wouldn’t have been an issue.
Although lots of rain, the course drained well
Played not long after 3 days of heavy rain and the course surprisingly was very playable. Always enjoy playing this course!!
Friendly staff great course layout
I love this place. Big Jim in the clubhouse always has some great golf jokes and the course is fantastic for the money
