Crane Watch Club

I played here last week and the rough was poorly maintained. This week conditions have improved. Green in good shape, not perfect but good. Fairways were very nice. Tees some need work but you can see that they are working on them. The rough was better this week you could tell it had been mowed. Still needs more maintenance but has improved. I'll go back in 2 weeks and see how the conditions have changed. Staff was great. For $17 including the GolfNow fees it was worth playing.

The course was a lot of fun to play. Lot's of different shots to hit off the tees so it keeps you interested.

It was a hot Florida day with no wind. Greens were in pretty good shape along with the fairways and bunkers. Tees were a mixed bag some were good and others were in poor condition, no grass and just packed sand. The rough had not been mowed in more than a few days. It gave the course a very unmanicured look. The pace of play felt very slow but we were able to play in 3.25 hours, not to bad. Staff was great.

Conditions were poor today at the course. The tee boxes were like sand traps and the grass throughout the course was seriously overgrown. Possibly this all was due to COVID so I’m willing to try again.

We had played the course a couple of times a few months ago, and the course was in great condition. It was kept up, and enjoyable. Today was terrible. There were so many weeds in the fairways. Hardly any grass on the tee boxes. We had to play the back nine twice. And, they had allowed fives somes out there. And, the first nine we played we were right behind them, and then the second nine there was a twosome that went in front of us. Also, we never knew the pin positions on the greens. Very disappointed!

Only able to play the front 9 do to all the rain. Had to play it twice to get 18. Fairways and greens were in good shape. The rough was tall and thick. Tee boxes could use some help. Overall it was a good round of golf.

Nice layout within a golf community. Greens were in very good condition, but a little on the slow side. Tee boxes were the course's weakest feature; they need help. Fairways were fair to good, apparently moving in the right direction. Weather have been crazy for this time of year with extremes of heat, drought and periods of typical Florida rain taking its' toll on many courses, especially those experiencing renovation. This course seems to be on a good rebound. Would not hesitate to return.

Have played often since new ownership took over.. great layout ,excellent greens and improving fairways and tee areas. The staff from A to Z is nothing but helpful . Would recommend to all players in area

The golf carts have the most comfortable seats and are fast for electric carts. The fairways are in good condition, especially for this time of year (dry season). the greens are true but slow, and in great condition. A real gem of a course. The staff were helpful and friendly.

After being closed for over a year(approx) I thought everything might have been in better shape. I was not impressed with fairways or greens as I thought they might have been greatly approved. I like the course but was expecting more for the money. Trying to book on line is next to impossible, unknown why? Cannot get a page to open up on email login. Had to use golf now which is something I avoid as it prove not to be as good as I thought it would be.

I has been years since I play 'Evergreen'. I know it's gone through some tough times in the last few years. Thought I would give it a try. For the $$$, not bad. Greens were slow but rolled OK. Fairways had quite a bit of grass. Weeds are going to be an issue for some time in the rough. But the course sat for 4-5 months so weeds are the result. Fun course and will play again.

Took a chance and played on an iffy day weather wise. The staff was very flexible on our tee time and even offered to honor it the following day. We were lucky to get the round in between the rain and the cart attendant [ Mark] withstood a downpour to get our clubs in the car as quick as possible, Greens were in very good shape and the layout is as good as any in area.

have played this course for several years, it has never been in better shape. the new staff has done a very nice job making this a course as good as any in the area.
