Buffalo Creek Golf Course

They need rangers to do their job. Two groups ahead of us felt they could play at a 4:45 pace and they did. We had to watch their every shot while they had two hole in front of them empty. The ranger was never around. Very frustrating as we had to say something and they got mad at us .

2 temp greens with no warning, took 5 hours to play and charging almost 65 bucks, not good

Starter was very obnoxious and had no idea how to govern the tee offs. I witnessed at least 32 people upset. He told a twosome that if the other twosome ( that the course teamed them up with ) doesn’t show then they would have to go home. He started us off FIVE groups behind because they were there ahead of us. He acknowledged that we were there 15 minutes before our designated tee time but said it didn’t matter cuz they were there first.

Evidently someone tore up 2 greens with a car. We weren’t notified until we reached the course for check in . A “temporary “ green was set up on 2 holes with an oversized hole . Maybe we should reduce the price until it back to full potential

Too many t times jammed together and ignorant golfers driving up to t box and talking while we were teeing off. After 3 holes I finally said something and they stayed away till we were out of box. Too many golfers with no etiquette but courses don’t seem to care as long as they get their money.

One of 3 municipal courses in Manatee County and probably the most challenging. I have enjoyed playing this course over the past 30 years and still enjoy playing here.If you break 90 you’re totally happy.

The practice area is complete trash. The greens and patchy with either repairs or dead spots or weeds Fairways are green but shaggy and so are the tee boxes. I’d say one of the worse courses in the area I’ve played.

Overall, good experience but pace of play needs to improve.

This round was no more or less than expected, adequate in most respects.

the fairways are great. the greens were very poor to good. Lots of repairs on greens made it difficult to putt.

Pace was so slow that we had to wait at every single shot, very frustrating. Took 5 hours to play.

For someone unfamiliar with the course the signage and description of holes was lacking

Even though course was jammed packed…. Pace was great. Never understood why they don’t have a beverage cart on course though…..
