You are obviously over booking or booking tee times too close together. 5 1/2 hours is way too long to play a round of golf. Takes the enjoyment out of the game.

Rates are too high not to not to expect a better round of golf.

Everything was fine except pace of play. Didn’t start for about 45 minutes after scheduled tee time and had to wait to tee off on all 18 holes. Still love golfing at Buffalo Creek though!

Severely over booked!!

Been going to Buffalo Creek for over 10 years. Yesterday (1/27/24) was my last time going there for sure. Booked a 9:41 tee time and was given a 10:08 start time when we showed up. Approximately 8 foursomes went off in front of our 9:41 tee time. Total horse crap!! Good bye Buffalo Creek forever!! I highly recommend everyone go somewhere else!! They're management booking tee times and course management of pace of play is an absolute JOKE!! If you enjoy 5 and a half hour rounds and teeing off a half hour after you book your round, go to Buffalo Creek every round you book and enjoy mystery on a golf course!!

This course has a BOOKING PROBLEM

Showed up for a 1:11 tee time and didn’t get to tee off until 1:45, the bookings are 3-4 minutes apart. It’s a nightmare. The Marshall was great and hung in there like a champ, actually told us they had 270 tee times booked for the day. They ran out of carts because it was so bad. Would recommend either playing early morning or staying away. Not an afternoon course what so ever.

Friendly staff. Course is challenging yet fair. Good condition for all the play it gets. Greens and fairways in good shape. Saw a lot of wild life, numerous birds, some gators. Would def play again.

Horrible

The course wasn’t in terrible shape. Unfortunately, this place doesn’t have enough golf carts and this becomes the customers’ problem. To try and make up for this, the starter tries to line up 5 groups at a time on the first tee. We ended up having to wait on every shot on the front 9 because they stacked tee times to go along with their cart shortage. We were tolerable of waiting, however, until we finished the 15th hole and were greeted by (apparently) the course pro, slurring his words and telling us we were a hole behind and needed to pick up the pace (not sure how we could with the group ahead of us) or we would need to skip a hole. He was in flip flops and obviously intoxicated. We played on. Three of us teed off on the 18th hole and as the last person in our group was teeing off, a ranger started approaching up the middle of the fairway, preventing him from doing so. The ranger then said that we needed to pick up our balls and drop them up on the green and “they would give us a par 😂”, because they needed carts for those who didn’t have one yet. We pushed back a little and he refused to move, stating that he was just the messenger. We then took our bags off the carts and walked the 18th hole so that we could finish the round we paid for. As mentioned earlier, we had been waiting on shots all day and we were no more than 10 min behind pace. You’d think we were 5 hours in the way we were being treated. Sure enough, the ranger went back and brought another crew member to bring our carts in. I went in and told the gentleman at the Pro Shop my thoughts and he said he was unaware and wanted to give a free round, which we did not want considering the circumstances. Attached to this photo is the group of folks waiting for carts because the place only has 20. So their idea to fix this is to make others give theirs up early.

Absolute clown operation

Do not play this course. Management over books their tee sheet. We had a 9:48 tee time and the pro shop gave someone else our time and on #1 there were 8 carts waiting to tee off. No rangers out there to improve pace. This place is run by mongoloids who I wouldnt trust running a lemonade stand. Do not give them your money unless you want to play a 6 hour round.

The hot dog was solid though.

Local course managed poorly.

Grabbed a tee time around 9am our slot was given to a random person even though it was prepay. Get to the line of 14 carts at number on and we’re bumped back 35 minutes. The pace was atrocious due to major overbooking. I am reminded why I don’t play this local course any longer. It is managed by people that shouldn’t be managing a local hotdog stand. Total joke.
