Buffalo Creek Golf Course

Good layout, greens in good shape was fun to play.

What a wonderful surprise this course was. To find, quite by accident, a course with bent grass in southern Florida was frankly a shock. I hate playing off Bermuda but thought that's all there is in the south. It felt like home (central Ohio). Tees, fairways and greens were perfect. Had no issues playing out of the fairways and green speeds were just how I like them. And going through GolfNow cut the $90 green fee down to $50. In terms of course conditions I've played $150-200 courses that weren't as nice as this one. If I ever visit the Tampa Bay area again I will surely play Buffalo Creek again. Highly recommend!

Course was in great condition and the pace was very good. Jessica in the snack bar was very friendly and the golf shop staff was super!

A good course for sure some tough layouts, but the greens are in great shape.

2nd time here. Each time seen the big gators sunning. Remember that if you are one to go ball hunting near water. Front 9 need fairway placement more so than more open back 9. Has great local muni vibe feel rather than a stiff well groomed resort. Did the prepaid tee time and it went swell. Got a few par's spent most day chasing bogeys. Several greens had spongy feel on them, overall greens in good shape. Played gold tees with bud and they were plenty long.

This golf course is a good budget course for the area. Some greens have bad spots but mostly roll true. A couple greens are really good. Grass driving range is nice. Although it was jam packed the pace was fine. Played in 4 and a half hours and had to wait on a couple tee boxes. Good value.
