Buffalo Creek Golf Course

Well taken care of. Soft greens. Pace is usually fast.

This course was recommended by a friend who played there regularly, but many years ago.

We were early for our tee time, and got to start early. Modern carts that had USB ports. Continuous cart path was nice as it helps identify directions as this was our first round here it helped a lot. Greens were smaller than we were used to so our short games were put to the test.

Pace of play was excellent. Starter told us we would catch a foursome and to just go around when we did. It was wide open after that.

Will definitely come back when in the area.

Nice layout. Seldom loose a ball here. Pace of play good. Greens always a solid B.

Normally we would not play Buffalo Creek as it always seems to be a very slow pace of play especially right before and after the turn.

This day we were told to start on hole #10 by the golf pro whom had been checking us in. Super friendly and accommodating.Started hole #10 and didn't see a backup until after the turn.

As I was waiting to tee off on #2, about 4 carts came from further up and the wrong direction.

It was the cart guy bringing those who started on #1 instead of #10.

Pretty awesome of that cart guy.

Course was in decent shape with the greens having a touch of sand on some greens.

Close to home, familiar layout, great staff and now new carts.

Any golfer who has lived in the area pre-covid to the current climate knows that prices have gone through the roof and it’s really hard to get on a decent course unless you’re okay with playing at 2pm in 100 degree+ heat indices. Buffalo Creek has raised their game front several years ago. It’s not perfect, but a good value for your dollar.

This course is always fun for me as I enjoy he layout. It is apparent that the ownership is committed to improving the facilities. Good value!

Booked as a single for mid-day weekend round. Friendly and accommodating staff, including A.J. in pro shop and Dave handling carts & starter duties. Was paired with three others. Weather was excellent. Finished in just over four hours with no backups.. All tee boxes were in decent shape. Several fairways were a bit thin but we played ‘ball down’ the entire round. (Some rain, which has been sparse, should take care of this.) All sand traps were unkempt (they didn’t even have any rakes on the course). All greens on the front were slow but in good shape, with the exception of hole # 4 (which was recently rebuilt). Most greens on back had multiple sand patches around the edges (we just moved our ball over a bit). They too were slow but rolled true. For the price this is a decent course and I look forward to returning soon.

Buffalo Creek is my go-to for an inexpensive round on Golfnow. The course is wide open, no homes, some fun dog legs to attack. For a municipal, this course is average on upkeep, with slow greens and spotty boxes, but the typical pace of play and openness outshine's the negatives.

Course in good condition and greens were good but slow. Will return again
