Fun and great shape
Very playable, challenging, water, sand, had to place shots, greens very good. A pleasure, will play again.
Nice course
Nice course - challenging for an executive course. Lots of water! Layout is good. Not the plush fairways I would have expected but still fairly good condition. I would definitely come back.
great value for the price!
Have played here for years......relatively short course surrounded by homes....like most Florida courses, after January, pace of play becomes quite slow, so be prepared for that and you'll enjoy yourself.
Liked it...went back 2 days later...and again tomorrow
First round we were put out on the course immediately as it was not busy...so pace of play was excellent. In fact we let a single player play through and never did get backed up at all. Course has lots of water but forward tees took much of it out of play, which my wife appreciated.
Enjoyed it enough we went back two days later. This time the starter put us out early as we were a twosome and would have been behind a "slower foursome". Really appreciated that and again, pace of play was great.
First round we saw several baby crocs, second day saw the mom and she was huge.
Great course with even greater people who seem to really care about your round.
Some greens are a little rough in places so we simply moved the ball to where it was fine (never closer) and besides, my name is Bill, not Jordan or Phil or Tiger
We just booked to play there again tomorrow.
nice executive course
The most friendly staff. pace was fast
lots of water in play.
Fab course
My wife & l have played this course many times and although it’s a short course we find its very tricky with water on most holes even a low handicap golfer will find it a challenge we come on vacation every November from the uk and love this course
Great executive
Nice executive golf friendly staff...Water on 8 holes out of 9 front
Great Course For The Price
Fun executive course that we will return to. I hope the greens are in better shape and the fairways mowed by then. Irma hit a week earlier and you could not tell.
Very Poor
This course shouldn't have a rating above 1 star. The range was in poor condition, tee boxes are sparse with grass, greens are slow, cups haven't been changed in a week. If you are a beginner golfer this may be the course for you, but if your are an avid golfer this place is not worth the cheap price....don't waste your money.
Ok, good practice course short and narrow--very windy
Nice location, but it is very windy. Good for practicing your short game and keeping on the fairway in a tight residential setting. Many of the holes are short and there is a lot of water around making it more difficult with the wind conditions than you may first think.
Windy March
Course was in good condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of challanges for an executive course .
Enjoyed Palying There
The course was good to play but would have been better if the wind was so nasty... Tough hitting a 140yd drive over the water with 20-25mph winds blowing in your face.. I will play there again on a better weather day..
A decent layout
Now I played on a Saturday which as you know, Saturday is normally a snail pace round, well I'm not sure what is slower but we were it. With no Ranger the round stretched to almost 5 hours and that's not including the 30 minute delay and I was in a 2 some. If you want to play here, wait until the summer months or play during the week. The layout is great but the course is missing grass here and there, the greens are very slow. I like the course because I hate going to the range so you get the best of both worlds, a practice course. There was no cart girl and I have no idea if they have a clubhouse, I prefer to stock myself with something to drink. Yes I will play here again but only if I can't find anything else to suit my needs for a Saturday, which is how I ended up here on that particular day. Freedom fairways is a lot closer and offers the same style of course, but it's nice to switch up every once and awhile.
Hey Matt, thanks for your insight. We have new owners now and we have drastically improved the playing conditions, green speeds and overall maintenance. If you think the course is too "short" you should try the blue tees and experience the 200+ par 3's over water with demand carries and small greens. Any player of your abilitity would enjoy it much better although the par 4's will still be pretty short for you. That is what "Executive" courses are. In our case, we are one of the longest Exec's you will ever play and you would definitely find it one of the more challenging if you play the Blues next time around.
