Great for your short game
The have done a great job keeping the course in good shape. I have played here before and I will continue to play this course.
Good little course for the money
this is an executive course with 7 par 4's and difficult par 3's over alot of water. friendly staff and good pricing makes this my go to course.
fun and friendly
Very friendly and courteous staff. Course was in good shape.
golf aat Terre Ceia
Tee time delayed 30 minutes; play pace very slow.
Cousrse condtions only fair, some greens had bare spots and little grass.
Cannot review food and beverages since did not buy any.
Poor Facilities for Golphers
No halfway house, no on course refreshments, no washrooms on course or after 9. Had to go to pro shop area to get these. Quite a ways to go.
great
If you don't like water stay away from this course. Water on 16 of 18. Just the right length for us old times.
Will not return
While going over to the putting green, we were directed to another putting green by the first tee. This was not a putting green. No pins, just a green that had many patches, a mess. The fairways were very dry, sparse grass and greens scalped in places. Nice challenging holes with lots of water.
Still a challenge.
I have played this course many times. The hole I have difficulty with is number 2. From the tee you carry water most of the way. The pin is always behind a bunker. the distance should be an easy drive. But for some reason this hole psych's me out. Because of this hole I stopped playing Terra ceia. In my estimation, this year I have been playing pretty good golf So, I thought I would try playing Terra Ceia once more. I was looking forward to playing #2. It was a disaster. I tried a 5 iron and put three balls in the water. Went up to 3 iron and over shot the green. There is something about that hole that puts my golf off. For the remainder of the course there is a lot of water that comes into play, and I have very little trouble with those holes. If you know the course I played when bulrushes use to hide the landing spots. However that is a longtime ago. the course is well maintained and is fun to play. Something for the long hitters and can challenge your ability. My wife had a hole in one on the 16th. Watch out for the gators.
Water a Definite Challenge!
Lots of Water but a fun short executive golf club. The price is very good for Southwest Florida in the snowbird winter months if you use Golf Now. Because of Golf Now we are able to play different courses 2 or 3 times a week.
great short course with some challenging situations and greens!
great short course with some challenging situations and greens! Water ist often in play. I like the gras of the fairways, good playable. Fast greens well mantained.
It is what it is
Terra Ceia is an executive course in decent condition. The greens had been top dressed the day I played so they were a little bumpy but had the potential to be good, overall the conditioning was good. The golf course is comprised of par 3s and par 4s. The par 4s are all similar in length, about 320 yards and not all that challenging but the par 3s are a different story. They are all very different and a fun group of holes. This is a fun place to play if you want to work on your iron play or if you don't have 4 hours for a round of golf.
