Bay Point Resort - Nicklaus Course

No marshal on the course even though one is paying premium prices. 5some with 3 of the group kids under 12. only 2 bags. I'm sure they did not pay the $100 for each person. Also, the foursome in behind the fivesome were hitting more than one ball at a time. One of the players in the foursome was barefooted and wearing t-shirt. I thought there was golf attire required. Started at 4pm and did not get to finish my round. It didn't get dark until 8:15. I will not go back!

Overall the golf course was in great condition! The course layout is really challenging but fair. The only think I could see improving is the majority of the greens has little grass clusters or weeds. I thought it was just a pile of mowed grass on the first hole and quickly realized it wasn’t. I the end of the day that’s my only negative remark, but the greens rolled true and very receptive. I’m definitely going to come back again and play, I’ve played several up closer to Destin at $150-$200 a round and I thought the layout and overall condition was a little better here at BayPoint. Course was in great condition and pace of play was outstanding. Love this place.

One of the best golf courses in this area, however the price is ridiculous. This is also the most expensive course in the area. I have golfed all over the pan handle of Florida. The price of this course has increased every years for the last 3 years.

Great course to play while on vacation. Somewhat challenging but fun layout and forgiving.

The course, Fairways are good/ open at times for high handicappers, but strategically placed bunkers and dog legs, Ensure you’re thinking through your shot placement for your above average golfer. Greens were great and beautifully crosscut. Course has a great layout and a very pretty design. Would say it’s at a RJT level for the area, Will 100% play again soon.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Kept up as good as possible being as it’s basically in the ocean. The course was pretty challenging for beginners/amateurs. Paid $140 for 2.

Played a round the day before aeration and the day after aeration. Other than a little sand build up in a few spots there was no difference.

We've played here for over a decade and have never had a bad experience. The course is fun, challenging and memorable. The staff is what adds the exclamation point!

The course has beautiful views of the bay. Lots of water to lose balls in , especially in the first 5 holes. Tough layout requiring well placed drives over water. Very enjoyable course to play. There is also a great place on site to grab a bite to eat and a beer when you are done.

your staff at Bar 72 (Neon's) could use some finessing. Trying to be funny but coming off rude. No ice for beverages ordered for the course cooler that is provided. No reasoning, no apologies.
