Gopher Holes
Made a hole in one on the 16th fairway. Is there a local rule for that?
Not fun
Some of the greens are very bumpy. No true roll. There is limited cart path so you must ride on course which is often very bumpy making for an uncomfortable ride. Fairways are not well maintained. Carts have no roof, open to sun. Checkin was easy and outdoors. Friendly attendant.
Decent Course
The tees could use significant work and the greens have some invasive grasses that need to be treated and removed. The course design is very good with no parallel fairways and strategically located sand traps. The fairway grass is average. The design of the greens is better than average and the golfer is punished when placing the ball above the holes.
Rancho santa maria
A great and always is for golf at Rancho Santa Maria. Great weather great company.
Nice layout
Tees could use some work. The fairways could use more water. Greens are about average. No parallel fairways which is excellent and a good safety factor.
Riley who periodically is the starter and works in the clubhouse is top notch and cordial.

Nice course layout. Some improvements underway to improve playing conditions. Riley is one of the staff and is efficient and friendly.
Beautiful day for golf
This has been my second out of town golf experience since courses have reopened due to the Pandemic. I was happy to be out and the day was beautiful. Conditions were good and I was a little rusty, but didn’t care. I was playing golf again !
Great place to play
Play this course 20 times a year or more. Great deals on golf now. Carts are open. I prefer to walk. 18 holes greens are fast most days. Wind can be a factor depending on time of day and time of year. Traps are fair to good condition. Tee boxes have had some major improvements over the last 8 months.
Hidden gem
I didn’t expect a lot. But they somehow made a great course out of plain land. Loved every aspect of it. Good conditions too.
Obvious isn't it?
Better to walk than ride on this course full of bumpy tree roots and no paved cart paths and carts without roofs. This course has the only flat driving range on the Central coast

Friendly staff. Nice greens. #6 hole being worked on.
