About
Cypress Ridge Golf Club stretches along the Central Coast, taking its name from the abundant cypress trees that are scattered throughout the course. The scenic and hilly terrain is the star of this layout, it provides challenging ups-and-downs but also stunning views. The smooth, fast greens are often elevated, as are many of the tees. The strategic placement of the bunkers was determined by the natural contours of the landscape. Though the golf course has many challenges to offer, playability is also a key feature. Golfers of all skill levels can approach Cypress Ridge Golf Club with confidence. Water does not have a prominent presence but it does come into play on the finishing par-5 hole. The golf course is a local favorite for both the enjoyable round itself and the friendly staff.

Cypress ridge
Bunkers had grass patches growing in them. Some issues with drainage on a few holes. Greens and fairways were excellent.
Average all around…
I haven’t gotten to play many of the courses in the area but I’m sure I’ll give a few others a try before I head back. We had a good time playing today, the staff was friendly and cant complain too much aside from from the usual 4:45hr Sunday morning round (teed off around 7:30 for reference). The greens were in pretty good shape albeit pretty slow. Half the bunkers were muddy and quite a few had standing water.

One of the best!
The course is always fun to play. However, they are currently making many repairs, such as cart paths, tee boxes, etc. Aside from that, it's always a good option for anyone wanting to dial in their game.
