By far, the best part was the guy in the golf shop/tee times. John, I believe? He makes you want play here every chance you get. Greens were great and the course was in a little transition in the fairways, but really no issues. Great experience. Highly recommend.

I play golf all over Florida and outside of your $200+ courses, this place has the the best greens I’ve seen on a public course anywhere in the state. They are in pristine condition. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the fairways and rough. They need some serious TLC. That being said I still found this course enjoyable and would recommend it over the other 4 public courses I have played in the Pensacola area.

This is the second spring break we came down to this area of Perdido Key. Love this course! It is a challenge on a normal day with super tight fairways, lots of bunkers and super fast greens! Played two days in a row, and it was windy! 30mph wind gusts makes some holes super challenging. The greens were in great shape, rolled out fast and true!

The staff was great from the guy in the pro shop, starter and beverage lady! Thank you all for a great time. We will be back!

We play a lot of different courses when we winter here. I've got to say the greens and fairways are some of the best compared to the other courses.we have played. Course I'd in my top 5 in the area.

We played on a Sunday and felt like we had the course to ourselves. Comfy golf carts. Didn’t lose as many balls as we were warned about. Fairways and greens in excellent condition.

For the price, I expected a much better course. The greens were the highlight. They were healthy and green but not very smooth and were hard. I did not need to repair ball marks when I hit the green with an iron approach.

Fairways were patchy and brown, cart paths were mostly just dirt paths, trim and detail was not very good. Most holes were narrow. The course is not very well taken care of. I paid a $69 twilight discounted rate.

Course was in great shape. Staff was professional and friendly. My only critique is that navigation takes you to a member’s only gate, so it’s difficult to get there. Upon arrival the Woman in the guard shack ignored us for two minutes with no acknowledgement head down doing paperwork. I did a light tap of my horn to ensure that she knew we were there. She then proceeded to lecture me for at least a minute that everyone is in a hurry and I needed better manners. Not a good first impression for customers. She needs to be re trained or replaced. In spite of this rocky start the rest of the staff were great and I would recommend this course. Greens were in terrific shape.

Best greens I’ve seen I a while. Tricky but not along course.

Nice course, I was going to give it 4 stars until 7 Blue Angels in formation and one which appears to be carrying the trainer flew over our heads on hole #18 as I was getting ready to hit my approach shot. That was the coolest Sugar Honey Ice Tea I ever saw on a golf course. Therefore I give the course 10 stars.

Lost key other wise known as lost ball was in great condition for early spring. Some tee boxes need some work but fairways and greens were A plus rating.

So slow we did not complete 40-45 minutes per hole on back nine, 3 groups of 5, backed up to 4 groups on tee, no Marshall ever came by, but saw beverage cart once & trash pickups twice, played here many time’s but today was worst

(Positive +++) 3rd time playing and this is by far the best it’s looked. Great driving range. Fairways and greens immaculate. Tee boxes need a little work as they have lots of sand.

(Negative —) Now the ONLY bad experience was the staff. The moment we (my brothers and I) got to the clubhouse, we felt a real “uppity” vibe from the moment we checked check in until the moment we left. The lady behind the bar at the grille was EXTREMELY rude and not friendly at all. I’ve been in the serving/hospitality industry for years and she doesn’t belong! She gave us bad looks when ordering drinks, rolled her eyes to questions we asked and overcharged us for something we didn’t even order but had to request it to get it. The only positive spin on the staff was the cart girl. Not sure of her name but she was beyond friendly, waited for people to hit before driving thru and simply had the best attitude. She obviously needs to take the other ladies place.

Would definitely go back but get ready for the uppity vibe..

The condition of the golf course is not the same as in the past.. Too many divots on the fairway.. There is no repair sand ready....Thank you.

Teed at 11 - front 9 took 2 hrs&15 minutes - slow enough but then it got worse.

When turning, we discovered that 2 foursomes somewhere in front of us decided to go in, sit down, order and eat lunch. Then they came out and went to # 10 in front of us - so now 12 people are waiting on the 10th tee and we have an additional .

Front was open, so we went there again with starter's permission.

When we got to #11 tee, 3 foursomes were on the par 3.

That 9 took 3 hours.

No ranger, no monitoring of people turning from front to back.

When charging over $70/round there is no need to overfill the course nor mismanage what is oversold, be it rounds of golf or food in the restaurant.

Golfers should call from # 8 tee, order, pick up their food and eat it on the go OR lose their place in the queue until there's a gap.

This course is very narrow with a ton of traps and water on each hole. I'd leave the driver home. Greens were great for playing 1st week of March.
