Lost Key Golf Club

About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Lost Ball
Played golf only. Service is nothing special. Bag attendant's didn't offer any assistance. Golf carts not prepped correctly. $80 per for early tee off. Very tough course for mid to high handicapper. balls get lost in plain sight. course was in good shape. played over Memorial day weekend. Pace wasn't an issue at all
Strong test
Bring your best game and play your appropriate tee box. By no means is this a grip and rip tract. Excellent test of shotmaking in beautiful wetlands setting. Course and greens were in excellent springtime condition. Get some buddies together and scramble golf on this challenging tract. Save some money versus other choices in the area as well.

nice course.
tough course for high handicappers. very easy to lose balls. lots of water and high brush. Multiple, larger then normal " no Cart areas". No junior merch in the pro shop.

Great Round at Lost Key
This is a very fun but tight golf course and always bring extra golf balls. The greens are excellent and so are the fairways. The staff is friendly and the course is reasonably priced compared to many close to the beach. The pace of play was great considering how challenging the course can be. We have played this one many times and will return in the future.

Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Lost Key Golf Club.
Lost Ball
Great course. Very challenging, if you don't hit the ball very strait.

Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Lost Key Golf Club.
Great Course
The greens are in great shape as well as the fairways. The rough is spotty. It’s still May. It will take a few weeks but this course will be first class. Just keep it in the fairway and you will have no problems. If you don’t, it will live up to its name “Lost Ball”!

Wow! We are so happy you enjoyed your round! We look forward to seeing you again soon at Lost Key Golf Club.
Lost Key is Fun but…
Lost Key is a fun golf course but you better hit the ball straight. It has amazing greens but if you barely miss the green, you could lose your ball in the swamp and/or deep grass. I recommend grabbing a few extra balls and have fun on this course.

Hello, thanks so much for your rating and feedback. We hope to see you again soon!
Great round at Lost Key
Very friendly staff and a challenging course. We were commenting about the amazing conditions of the greens. This is a tight course with very challenging second shots. The clubhouse is nice and we enjoyed the restaurant. If you want to play something different than the usual layout and don't mind losing a few golf balls, then this is a fun opportunity.

Wow! We are so happy you enjoyed your round! We look forward to seeing you again soon at Lost Key Golf Club.
We apologize for the issues with the service and golf cart preparation; your feedback is invaluable for our improvement. Thank you for acknowledging the course condition and the smooth pace, especially over a busy weekend.
