Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Great layout
For fall golf the course is in wonderful shape. Staff very friendly and respectful. Pace of play for Sunday was very good 3hours 50 minutes.

Greens in good condition and fast. Plenty of elevation changes. Fairways good, nice layout. A good round.

Tournament Conditions!!!!!
The course was in phenomenal shape! Ever since they redid the greens and filled in the bunkers the course has looked even better than before. The course had a tournament that morning and you wouldn’t have been able to tell, because they cleaned everything up so quickly. It’s a wide open course, but still very challenging!

Fun Experience
We played on a Thursday afternoon. We had the course to our selves with no one in front of us. The new greens were soft and slow but looked good. They needed to be rolled. Many foot prints. Once you got use to them they were fine and putts started to drop. The bunkers were perfect. I hit into 2 green side bunkers and hit both shots to 3 feet. The tee boxes and fairways were perfect. You can tell they have upped their fertilizer. We played in 3 hours and 10 minutes and the weather was perfect. The rough is too long if you don’t hit the fairway it took about 3 minutes to find your ball. Pleas cut rough to 1.5 inches to help pace of play on busy days. There are to many restrictions on the carts. Some times right in the middle of the fairway next to a cart path you could not drive. Just put the cart in reverse and you can drive where you want.

Fantastic course.
Course was in the best shape I’ve ever seen it. Great layout and very getable. Greens were fantastic. Top notch courses for the 33 dollars i paid.

Greens and course in fantastic condition. GPS in carts. The course meanders through a housing complex, but out of bounds is really not in play on most holes. Rough high in some places, but overall extremely fair.
Tips measure 7,202 yards. Loved this. I was thrilled with the course conditions that allowed me to have one of my best rounds in years (a 69). Will be back.

Great course, but be prepared for no clubhouse after 9
I have played Crystal Lakes twice now. First time was years ago and it was in Supreme condition. Fairways now have been beaten up pretty bad, but greens toll true and pretty fast.
You really have to prepare ahead of time as the course is continuous as there is no return to the clubhouse after the 9th hole. A cart came by when we were on the 16th green, but by then we waited until the clubhouse. Seems the could set up a stationary cart between 9 & 10 on the weekends when the course is packed.
