About
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Good course
Good course like layout, in need of some TLC after a week of rain.

It has been several years or more since I played this course. The first thing I recognized was the poor condition of the greens. Very spotty on every hole. Disapponting. Does not appear there is much interest in keeping the course up for the patrons. Hope they make an efforr to get it right.

Sunday morning round
Beauty!! Challenging in some stretches but well maintained, and easy to navigate. Fairways were plush. par 3s were worthy; well bunkered.

Greens are horrible!
The course overall is challenging and fun. But the greens are riddled with weeds and disease. Can't believe they charge full greens fees!

The greens were in bad shape. Disease or something. Disappointing.

Needs a little upkeep
Areas on the course are being neglected, not sure if it's due to covid or lack of funding, but even the bridges need work with wood rotten on cart path, driving range looked like a cow pasture. The property seems a little run down and just needs some maintenance.

Rough shape
Played here approx two months ago and it is was in immaculate shape. This time they had just aerated and many of the greens seemed diseased. At least one of the sand traps were hard packed dirt and over all many were in poor shape. I love this course and the layout but was really disappointed this visit.
We apologize you did not have a 5 star experience, and we will make note to improve for your future rounds. We hope to see you back again in the future!
Very unique
The grassy buckets are very unique. They. present some challenges if you don’t hit the fairway with your drive. The par 3’s have a wide range of distances so you don’t just use a pitching wedge. Overall, a very interesting course and I will definitely play it again.

Golf day
The course is good and well maintained however, it lacks drinking water and there were no ball washing stations.
To top it off, the restaurant closed at 4pm so I just missed it as I finished at 410 pm.
That was disappointing as I was in desperate need of a beer.
