Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club
About
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Golfer Reviews
One of the Best in Atlanta
This course is in really solid condition. Tee boxes in great condition. Fairways and greens immaculate. This is easily one of my favorite courses in the area.
Great design
First, the course was in fine playing shape. Greens were not excessively fast, but rolled very true and were unblemished. Most teeboxes, fairways and rough were also in good playing condition to enable the golfer to make their shot. A private tournament was finishing as we teed off and the late afternoon pace was fine as smaller groups played quickly to beat the sunset.
The real draw here is the course design and layout, particularly off the tee. The architect has provided a variety of different holes to give interest as well as different ways to attack the hole. Good mix of long and short par 4s especially. At least 3 “par 4 and a half” were a par feels like a birdie. But some short par 4 where you can bomb it over trouble and have an easier look at birdie. Or lay back to avoid trouble but often face a challenge such as bunkers or reduced view of the green. I also noticed several holes where there is more room off the tee but that is somewhat hidden. The par 3s are solid but less memorable. This is a fine test of golf for daily players and I hope the owners will keep it up.
Well kept course!
Really enjoyed this course and was one of the nicest courses I have played in South Atlanta. Well kept and a good challenge!
Excellent course 👍.
Posted one of my lowest scores ever on a nice calm day. Course was not crowded and pace of play was great.
Great course at affordable rate.
The course was in great shape and the pace of play was good, unlike the last time I played there. Greens had recently been airated, but we're mostly recovered. I will play here again.
Staff was late
Had an early morning tee time and the staff was late. Clubhouse did not open till after my morning tee time. They let groups go ahead of us and it got chaotic when they started letting people go out. Greens were aerated but that is no big deal. The course was nice. Just frustrating to deal with the chaotic morning.
Greens not good
We usually play here because the greens are usually perfect. Not the day we played. We could not access 2 greens because they were aerating. And the rest of the greens had their surface roughed up. If we had known ahead of time, we would have played a different course.
Crystal lake
We enjoyed playing Crystal Lake and qill make a return trip. The course is in great shape.
Great Condition
Course is in fabulous condition, fairways, greens and bunkers were all well maintained.
Definitely will be back
Loved everything about this course. Great views on every hole.
Clowns
Had a 720am tee time. Get there early to check in and hit the range just like any other wknd tee time. Pro shop is locked at 7am. 15 golfers there early trying to get ready to play golf. Some clown that works there driving around telling us they will be here in 15 min. The person finally shows up 30 mins late and we pay full rate with no chance to hit the range while there are 4-5 groups backed up on the first tee. Super unprofessional staff. The course is great but opening the pro shop an hour late is a joke. Total clowns running that place. Prob will not be back. Not a good look.
