Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club
About
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Golfer Reviews
Good day out.
Great golf course. Little too expensive for winter golf. I will say they need to do something about the kids riding there scooters all over 15 and 16. They were all around the greens and the bunkers. Riding through fairways while golfers were playing from and teeing off,
Worth the drive
Was looking for early tee times and even though it’s 45 min from me I was able to get a 7:30 slot. Good course in good conditions. You do a fair bit of driving from hole to hole so walking is not an option. Would def play here again.

Good condition fairways need more grass and cart. Paths need repairs.
Course is very good for Feb and great layout
First time playing the course
I was surprised how good it was and there are no bad holes and some excellent holes 4 -11-14-15-16.
They had sprayed the greens with a dye and i liked it as a change from brown.
Greens were shockingly good and fast
They have fine sand for divots which was something that was easily used..
As a low handicap player - i enjoyed the many forced carries. However ladies might really struggle. Still nothing was unreasonable for the carries.
Wish the course was closer to me

Fair ways need work so does the cart paths.greens are very good shape. Prices are too high for public golf.
Great course with starter issues
Always enjoy the course. Well maintained and cared for. The starter management needs improvement. They let late groups off in between scheduled tee times, always stacked at hole one, starter always seems over whelmed by the shear disfunction at the tee times. If they got the tee times and starter aligned the course is well worth standard price. Until then get hot deals and enjoy a great course.
Great course, even greater people!
I love playing here. The course is long and challenging but forgiving at the same time. The people there are incredible. Super friendly and Christian based staff. This is my go to course in the McDonough area.
