Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Great value, cool layout, recommend

Really enjoyed our weekday morning round. Luckily for us it rained earlier that morning so it was wide open for us. But very cool and challenging layout w a nice variety among the holes. Course in decent shape but admittedly the overnight rain probably helped as two other courses we played in the area that weekend were very dry. Friendly staff, definitely you hit up the restaurant for some after-round food and beverages, Dirty Diana behind the bar was awesome.

Not worth the money

Took us 5 hours to play a round a lot of the holes don’t have ball cleaners. Way over booked with tee times pace of play was some of the worst I’ve played.

Toney H

One of the best courses in South Atlanta. Great layout, greens were in superb condition for this early in the year. Some hard-dry spots in most fairways but didn’t ready effect course play.

Mr Davis

Greens are very good, but the fairways are very tight lies can’t get the ball in n the air . They need new type of fairways grass.

Great course

I recently had the opportunity to play at this challenging golf course located near Atlanta, and I must say, it was an exhilarating experience. The course is known for its long distances and demanding layout, which may not be suitable for beginners but will surely test the skills of seasoned golfers. Despite its difficulty, the course is intelligently designed, providing a fair challenge that rewards strategic play.

One of the highlights of my visit was the breathtaking views that surrounded the course, creating a serene and captivating atmosphere for a round of golf. The staff at the course were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall enjoyment of my visit. Additionally, the off-course amenities were excellent, offering a perfect setting to unwind and socialize after a challenging day on the course.

Being conveniently located close to the interstate, this golf course is easily accessible and ideal for a quick getaway or a day trip from Atlanta. Even in early March, the course was in great condition, a testament to the care and maintenance provided by the staff.

In conclusion, while this course may not be suited for beginners due to its challenging nature, it offers a rewarding experience for golfers looking to test their skills on a well-designed course with beautiful surroundings. If you're up for the challenge, I highly recommend giving this course a try for a memorable and invigorating golfing experience.

Marshals need to intervene

Played on a Saturday, 8:50am. Cold, windy, but sunny. Walked off the course at almost 2pm. Course didn't seem overly crowded; there was just a slow group earlier in the morning that wasn't addressed.

I expect longer rounds in nice weather on a packed course, this wasn't the case. We didn't see a marshal the entire time except when he came around to pickup someone only playing 9 (course doesn't come back to clubhouse until 18).

If the pace of play would have been moderated, it would have been well worth the price. The course is fun, the clubhouse and pro shop are nice. It's relatively easy to get to.
