Smooth round
Another smooth round at Burnt Store Marina. We have had some guests from up north with us lately and they have had a great time playing golf here. Looking forward to the next round.
Great short course
Very challenging 3 nines. The most difficult is Osprey, bring plenty of balls for this nine.
Driver use only on 2 to 3 holes per nine.
Staff and course are 👍.
We will definitely play again
Tee off early, the course becomes very full after 10 am

We had another great time at Burnt Store Marina! People on the course were playing ready golf, making the pace of play steady and appreciative! Thank you Bill and his attentive staff for another fantastic outing.

Great Executive course.
I suggest a good course map or App to clearly show water hazards. I started on the Osprey 9 and had no idea how much water was between me and the green, took out my driver and splash. I should have layed up with a 6 iron, then over water to the green. Water and other hazards are plentiful on the course. The back 9 had a couple holes, albeit short holes, lined with homes on both sides. For those of us that occasionally hit scatter shots, I prefer a bit more room. The course was in great shape overall and play moved right along, I teed off at 3:00 and easily finished 18 before sunset, probably 3 hours.
Basically this course is a string of par 3's
While you will run into the sporadic par4 (or a 345 yard par 5) this course is a sting of par 3's with water everywhere. Just a heads up. It was in descent condition and the staff was friendly.

Great round with new members!
Played the first nine holes with new members Terry and Bruce. Watch out ladies, Terry can play…Bruce drove the cart…Bruce can stroke it too!! We had a great time!

Great small course with plenty of challenge.
Staff made you feel more than welcome.
Pace of play was great
Course layout had good scenery. A lot of water in the course
Played this course last year and we liked it. Unfortunately, our experience was not as good this year. Reasons being:
1 Guy behind the counter was rude and not helpful.
2 Course conditions were not nearly as good as other courses we played last week.
3 Pace of play was bad. This was mostly caused by the group ahead of us. The ranger would not confront them.

Challenging Layout, Fun Afternoon of Golf
This is a nice and challenging Executive Course, which means it’s a bit shorter than a typical course. That said, the design is challenging and fair. Some water Carrie’s, a few 300+ yard par 4’s, nice par 3’s that make you think. We played on a windy day which made club selection a challenge.
Not in the best shape overall. Nice greens, that rolled true. Perhaps a bit slow, but nice for the average golfer. Tee boxes need some help. Fairways OK, but could use a little work.
Price was good for the golf offered and I will be playing here again.
Lots of water
Lost 6 balls, but had fun. Andy (staff) took a few minutes at cart turn in to help improve my swing. Good Stuff!
