For $50, this isn’t a bad course. Just don’t expect anything fancy. Greens were in really nice conditions. The fairways and tee boxes were ok.

When it’s windy, keep the ball low! This course gets very challenging when playing in the wind. Keep working the center of The course and eliminate the wind as much as possible. Enjoy a great round!

Nice twosome to play with; great carts; rate of play good.

I believe Troon to be a premier golf management firm. However, this time around the course personnel were not to the normal Troon standards. For example, upon arriving at the Bag Drop, there eas no one to assist. While taking the bags out of a vehicle is no big deal, the point is until this experience., Troon staff were akways there smiling and ever so helpful. While we were unloafing the clubs, a course employee watched us from the adjacent cart barn. We can go into the Pro Shop to register and tell the representative that our clubs sit at the Bag Drop. He walks with outside to udentify a bag employee and identifies the same individual that watched us offload. The Pro Shop rep motions for the bag guy to come over to assist. At that point. I walk over to the cart barn area where the individual is standing and ge then identifies a cart and tells me that he'll meet me at the bag drop. Given the situation, I tell the individual that at this point that I'll get the bags. Long story short, perhaps an off day for the individual but most certainly not Troon standard. As for the course, a fun place to play a round using irons predominantly. It is tight,lots of water but enjoyable.

We only played the Osprey. The holes are kind of challenging as you have to hit over water on most of the holes. Two of the par 4's were especially challenging as you are forced to lay up (unless you are an extremely long ball hitter). The greens are tricky as the grass seems to be cut to make putts slower going downhill and faster going uphill. Strange. Fairways were OK, but there were some bad spots. The greens were in decent condition. There are nice amenities including a putting green and driving range. There is also a full bar in the Club House. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Played with a members Bruce and Pat. We had a fast round and enjoyed a few brews after the round.

We played as a twosome on a nice warm Florida spring day. Greens were great, rolled true and just fast enough. Bunkers were all in great shape. Pace of play was a bit slow on the front nine. The foursome in front of us let us play through on the 10th hole with no one in front of us we breezed through the back nine. Played the Heron on the front and Osprey on the back. Tee boxes were rough. I know it is an executive, mostly par 3 course but golfers should be using tees. The amount of divots on the tee boxes lessened the experience. I am a Pennsylvania golfer. Our courses typically have just a bit of water. The Florida courses are a challenge as errant shots can often find the water. Not a course issue, but a golfer issue. All-in-all an enjoyable day on the course.

Well kept executive course. It does get cozy and back-ups happen. Be prepared to wait.
