Course layout had good scenery. A lot of water in the course
Played this course last year and we liked it. Unfortunately, our experience was not as good this year. Reasons being:
1 Guy behind the counter was rude and not helpful.
2 Course conditions were not nearly as good as other courses we played last week.
3 Pace of play was bad. This was mostly caused by the group ahead of us. The ranger would not confront them.
Challenging Layout, Fun Afternoon of Golf
This is a nice and challenging Executive Course, which means it’s a bit shorter than a typical course. That said, the design is challenging and fair. Some water Carrie’s, a few 300+ yard par 4’s, nice par 3’s that make you think. We played on a windy day which made club selection a challenge.
Not in the best shape overall. Nice greens, that rolled true. Perhaps a bit slow, but nice for the average golfer. Tee boxes need some help. Fairways OK, but could use a little work.
Price was good for the golf offered and I will be playing here again.
Lots of water
Lost 6 balls, but had fun. Andy (staff) took a few minutes at cart turn in to help improve my swing. Good Stuff!
Won’t go back
Some of the greens were in rough shape. Just never felt comfortable at this course

Interesting round
Playing on the weekend sets up for a great time. Thank you Joe (starter) for the lovely afternoon. We will see you soon!
Pelican and Huron courses
1st time out this year. Played with 2 gentlemen from Massachusetts both were enjoyable and pleasant. We had a fun round. Pace was good for us the group behind us had to wait for us to finish each hole but never complained. 18 holes took us 3.5 hours. The greens on Huron were in fantastic shape. A lot of water.
Burnt
The course was in rough shape. Almost no grass on the tee boxes. It took forever to play. I quit after 14 holes.

Over booking
Arrived 30 minutes early there was no carts for the golfers ahead of us 20 bags in line waiting for carts. Got off the first T 25 minutes from our normal T Time. Once on the course full 18 took us 3hours 40 minutes to finish.

No carts and slow play
Waiting 40 min on a cart and follow an ultra slow 4some of residents.
Greens are extreme slow and bumpy.

A test for the best.
Wind was up and we played from the yellow tees. Definitely not a ho hum course. Lots of bunkers which were well maintained. Greens are fast and undelating. If you need to tune up your iron game,this is the place. Will be back.
Golf
Course was challenging but fair. Greens were in good shape but tee boxes were a little beat up. Scenery was nice. Pace of play was good
Great executive course.
This course was a unique executive course with a few par 4's and one par 5 per hole. Pretty well water on most every hole and narrow fairways. Beautiful greens that rolled true. Would highly recommend this course.
Great place to spend s few hours on Saturday
Come and visit Burnt Store Marina on the weekend. There are open tee times and a friendly staff to make your round enjoyable.
Nice course but it’s an executive course mostly part three
The greens are very good the fairways when you were in them because like I said it was mostly parties we’re OK KAY boxes were good Central African good course if you just starting out I want to practice your short game, but the price is way too high should not be more than 40 bucks but everything‘s high down here in season
Wonderful day on the course
We had a great day day playing at Burnt Store Marina. Thank-you Bill and his staff for their hospitality and service. The course has survived the deluge of water lately and the pace of play was fantastic at 3 hours for 18 holes. Enjoy a round, you will not regret it!
