Pelican/Osprey at Burnt Store Marina Country Club

I play here a lot because it’s convenient since I live in the community. However, early in the year the course suffered an irrigation pump issue and there was a lot of dead grass everywhere and the greens were in rough shape. However, we had much rain here lately and the course is improving. However, the greens are still in a rough shape and some of the tee boxes are also in rough shape. Some greens and tee boxes are in better shape and the fairways are also improving. But overall, I do love the course. It’s very challenging for an executive. Of course I will continue to golf here on a regular basis.

Short exec course. Ok, course is in tough shape and greens burned out. But if your not playing for money and just for fun it’s a good course to have a couple of beers and not worry if you have take relief for bad ground, for $30 it’s a fun day.

From the parking lot, to the tee, 18 holes and the 19th hole delivered a great day of golf! Thanks to Bill and his professional staff for another wonderful round! Looking forward to another smooth round at BSM!

Greens burnt out over three months ago and are still in very bad shape Very Bumpy sand spread on a lot of them. Cannot putt balls straight enough without jumping around. At this time the course is not worth the value I paid for $50 per person with Golf Pass. Will wait until next October to check them out again. This course was once one of the Supreme layouts and was Fun to play.

Good condition all around: pace of play very good.

Enjoyable, senior friendly course!

Conditions that the course was disappointing. We played there last year and found the condition to be excellent. This year the drought got to the course the tease the greens and even the fairways need a lot of attention.

Greens were terrible. Bumpy. Filled with sand to try and get greens in shape. Don't waste your money. Pricey even with using golf now.

The addition of long needed rain has improved conditions. Could it have been from the green of St Patrick’s Day? As cold as it was, we had a great day starting with Amy and the beverage cart and finishing with the wait staff at hole 19. As nice as it time we had, we are looking forward to warmer rounds! Enjoy a fantastic round at BSM!

Thought we would try this course again after a bad experience before.

They shouldn't be charging to play this course at this time, greens are unputtable.

They also allowed a group of 6 kids to play in front of us and hold up the whole course.

I judge a course by the greens first. I'm play Mapleleaf (another exec course) the most. Burnt Store greens were mixed. Many had damage from birds or whatever and you had to move your ball to have a fair shot. They were also very slow. I left a lot of shots short. So the greens were disappointing. Course staff was great. I got there early and they moved me up to play sooner. I played the course about 4 months ago for the first time and left with a positive feeling. Florida courses are dry now and suffering a bit but the damage to the greens is another story.

The greens were absolutely terrible. Where there was grass on the greens the hole placement was not there.Most fairways were 60% grass and 40% dirt.

I have golfer burnt store for 6 years and the price went up every year. The price this year does not reflect how terrible the greens are. I will pass until I cone back to PG next year

Patchy in some areas most likely due to recent drought/cold, greens were nice, diverse layout that kept it fun. Pretty crowded at the driving range.

We played Osprey and this 9 was in horrible shape. Tees and greens were basically just sand, no grass. Very disappointing since when I played this in past, it was always in good condition. Appreciate they are dealing with a drought, but this was unacceptable. Will not play there again this golf season.
