Challenging Executive Course

Played the Pelican course (twice). Overall the course is in good condition. Some of the greens were in rough shape, but didn’t impact our play. Holes are pretty challenging with water in play for about half the holes. Decent course for novice golfers. Staff is friendly, cooperative, and organized. Greens were hard but putting was slow. A pet peeve of mine is greens that slope towards a hazard (sand or water). No need to make the course frustrating for the average joe. Overall a good experience and I would recommend the course.

Lots of water!

This course has three executive nine hole courses. They all play slightly differently, all are more challenging than they first appeared. The course was in good shape, well kept, staff is awesome. It was quite busy, and would have been frustrating if I had been in a hurry which I was not.

It’s a great place to work on approach accuracy and putting. Some of the greens are evil! I had a good time, would recommend it unless you live to hit long drives.

Baby Blue Monster

If you think your short game is good, give it a try. Bring extra balls! Water comes into play on 16 of 18 holes. They have an outdoor party on Thursday at 5:00 pm complete with food trucks and live music. This is a destination!
