Heron/Pelican at Burnt Store Marina Country Club

Osprey course has two tough water holes (1 and 9). Bring extra water balls! Lay up with a 4 iron on hole 1 to stay out of water. This leaves you a medium iron to reach the green over the water. On hole 9, drive it long to the right and use a small Ron to get over the water to the green. The more you play these holes, the easier it gets.

Course was in very good condition. Nice greens. Our first time playing so we were not fully aware of all the tricks.

I used the golf now app and made a T time for 10:15. Arrived at the course and their computer said it was 11:15. I showed him the email from golf now and he said there was nothing he could do. I went and talked to the starter, and he was outstanding. Told us to load up the cart and 10 minutes later he found us an opening on the back nine. It’s a par 60 with mostly par 3’s but it’s definitely not easy. Lots of traps, water and rolling greens. And the beer in the restaurant was nice and cold.

We have now played this course 3 times and have enjoyed the course. Challenging but fair & in great condition.

Best conditioned course of any we’ve played this month including magnolia landing, eagle ridge, Sanibel island, stoneybrook, cross creek, coral oaks, palmetto pines and, San Carlos .
