Heron/Pelican at Burnt Store Marina Country Club

Played 18 holes in less than 3 hours! Cooler conditions made us go up a club off the tees. Looking forward to our next round.

The course is embedded between houses and lots of water, so quite challenging when you are not the straightest player. So you have to build a strategy for each whole even if there are only par 3s and 4s mainly.

It doesn't feel like a short course and that makes it really a great experience.

Staff is super-friendly takes car of everything.

Greens are fast but fair.

Yes, I do enjoy playing that course. The staff is very friendly and they did move us right along. There was nobody on the tea so they let us go ahead. Never had to wait for anything. Yes, I would recommend this course.

Prices are rising yet BSM keeps delivering! Our foursome played a 3:10 round and kept into our grove for the entire round.

I played the Pelican 9 to start when I played on Thursday-a different front nine than I played on Tuesday, and I was a little disappointed to find that a few holes in a row were pretty much the same hole: par 3 with water down the right. Still, regardless of which 9 you play, It is an excellent test of your iron play. I am likely to return as it is a terrific value in my opinion. You won't hit driver much, although my playing partners did. The course and staff are worth the price!

I don't typically play executives, but the layout of Heron and Osprey made for a good test of golf. The layout of both nines were challenging, the greens and fsirways were in good shape, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The only slight criticism were the furry tee boxes. I look forward to playing Burnt Store again. Great for iron practice.
