About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Enjoyed this course very much. Fairways were in good shape, greens were very fast and difficult . Liked the layout, was challenging yet fair, great course and reasonably priced, would definitely play there again.

Course out of golf carts. Stacking tee times. 1:30 tee time and didn’t tee off till almost 2.

Outstanding
This place is the best course in Hillsboro county. Fairways were perfect and greens are fast and in perfect condition. I love playing here because staff is friendly and very helpful. Great Jod Jason

Hard fast greens
First time playing here. Cart guy/starter advised us greens were replaced 3 months ago & course was in best shape its ever been. A very nice layout, enough water & hazards to require good shot making skills to score well, However.....the Greens while smooth & FAST, are like concrete!!! Impossible to hold any kind of long approach shot, ball hits & runs through the green. Due to, I assume heavy watering of new greens, all the fronts of greens were very wet, so trying to hit short & let it roll up was not possible. I assume after a couple punches & sanding, they will be fine....just hard to play them now & score well. The rest of the course.....tee boxes level & with good grass, the only 2 bunkers I found ( thankfully) had nice sand & were raked out, but fairways are extremely thin. Why do FL courses cut their fairways so tight?????? Weren't many bare spots, just really short grass so tight lies. Hard to get lob & gap wedges under the ball, but typical of most public FL courses. Overall, a really nice track, which when the greens soften up, should be very nice & playable. I will return.

Great improvements
The new greens make this a great course to play. They are still kind of firm, but are consistent, roll well, and have moderate speed. Some of the tee boxes are thin in places, but I can see they are trying to get them up to speed. One of the better public courses in the area.

Frustrating
No Marshall to encourage faster play. Also The grass section that was open on range was uphill, terrible to hit off for practice before a round. We only played 14 of 18 holes because the pace of play was unbearable

Interesting Course
No negative review; starter was good, called us to the tee, avoided sending out 2 somes which was refreshing. First time playing; found the course in excellent shape, greens were consistently hard and fast, but not unplayable. First few holes were tough due to blind tee shots to unknown hazards, but next time, different strategy.

Answer the phone
How about answer your phone, so we can book tee times. I lost 12 dollars booking online through golf pass after i had to cancel with 48 hour notice because you cannot answeryour phone. That is your on-line booking company and they suck.
Never Disappoints
Staff/parking/clubhouse/ locker room, all excellent. snack bar, lounge, restaurant way above expected quality.
The course was in excellent shape with no two holes remotely alike. This made for a very challenging game.

They should never put 6somes on a course. So slow we only played 9.

Never should a 6some be allowed on a course. Backed everyone up, of course, but they didn’t care. Only played 9 because of it.
