About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Interesting
First time I’ve played the course. I thought the course to be favorable. The greens where good. Fairways had grass but the grass was like a tight lie pretty much everyplace. Course needs water and the grass needs to grow. So the ball sits up a bit. Other than that we liked it.

Enjoyed our round
This was the second time I had played here. Seemed much better than before. The fairways were fairly hard but the grass was nice and green. Ball got a good roll after it hit. Greens were in good condition too. I’ll definitely be back to play again. And I need to say that I think it’s a good course for what I paid.

Nice track but greens are concrete
This is a really nice track with a ton of potential. Tee boxes were ok, nothing to get too excited about. Fairways were best part of the course. Greens however were concrete. You cannot get any approach to hold on the greens. You must play approach shots as a bump and run but this is difficult when pins are tucked behind bunkers (as was the case for 6-8 holes). Our group had regular approach shots land on green, bounce 3-4 feet and not leave any divots.
Once they get the greens watered and in shape for approach shots to be accessible, this course will be great. I hold out hope that this course will be a regular go-to course for me in the future.

Great value at a great course.
The course continues to be in fantastic condition. This seems to be my go to venue which speaks volumes as I can play anywhere. In fact I’m playing there this Friday! I wish I could find out where their hotdogs are from. They’re so good. Go on Wacky Wednesday you great one free! Just leave me a tee time! Thank you Summerfield!

Fun course
Plenty of tees to choice from. Greens were very challenging

Chalky but fair course. Would make some different choices now that I have seen the layout.

5 hour & 6 Minute round
Very frustrating with the course being over booked and the pace of play. It took us 5hours and 6 minutes to finish our round. We waited on every tee box from 2 on. simply over booked. Was not happy that I had to prepay for all the golf up front. I purchased 2 tee times 1:30 and 1:37 with 2 four-somes and 1 guy could not make it due to family emergency and the other guy got lost and missed the tee time. So, I paid for 8 and we only had 6. I would not recommend this course simply due to pace of play.
