Summerfield Crossings Golf Club
About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Fum course. Golf staff excellent. Restaurant staff not.
Had a fun time. Good track. Hitting it straight is recommended. Some holes get skinny. All aspects of the course are in great shape. Greens hold approach shots like they should. Restaurant not recommended. Sat for lunch after our round. After 10 minutes with no service I asked if we need to order from the bar. Bartender told me she would be over with some menus. 10 more minutes we waited then left. Go for the golf. Leave for the meal.
nice course
Playable course for most skill levels. Friendly staff and well supervised. Rangers out to observe pace of play. I would recommend this course
Nice course
Callenging course due to how badly I played...good fairways and greens...would play again at right price
Fun game
For this time of year, I felt the course was in fair condition. Had to be aware when water kind of snuck up on you and you were required to lay up. Fun day for me and my wife.
Fun course, good value
Not overly difficult, kind of links style, pretty wide open with some mounds. Good variety of distances so used all the clubs. Greens didn't look real good but rolled smooth and quick.
Good layout
Course was fun to play, staff very friendly and helpful.
Very enjoyable round - reachable greens
I played the black tees, written up as 5779 yards. That means that most holes are reachable in regulation for the average golfer. I find that to be true, leading to an enjoyable round of golf. I think the layout is pretty and interesting. Very good conditions, very nice staff. Although there was some back-up at times, our threesome played 18 in 3.5 hours. Nice - I want to go back -
Amazing course!!
This course was in great shape and amazing to play! I will be going back!!!
Okay course with sub-standard employees
I have played at this course before and enjoy the course layout. The course is short for the lower handicap golfers but does offer some difficulty with the pot bunkers and water around the course. Putting greens where slower than what I am used to and could use a little bit more of some TLC. If you tend to get in bunkers watch out because they hardly have 2 inches of sand in them causing skulled shots out of them if you don't hit them just right. Now to the bad, front desk guy needs to get a lesson in customer service and be more friendly. I went to get a golf cart and the person was not there so a guy shows up 20 min later and asks are you waiting on a golf cart? He then tells me he doesn't work there but knows where the keys are, lol. Then when I go to the tee box for my tee time the cart guy finally shows up to ask me if I would split up with another guy because the other twosome we were supposed to play with were 5 hcp players. Which is funny since I'm a scratch player and could care less who I play with. Also no water on the course. Golfers beware of this place if you are not a member. Probably won't get the service you deserve for the price you pay.
Slow Pace
Liked the course! Pace was miserably slow... not a course to pound out a QUICK 18! Maybe better to play here in NON SNOWBIRD season. Nothing quick about it, but overall nice course!
Good value for the money
Course was a great opportunity to get out and play, even in wet weather. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Greens were forgiving once you made it. Not too fast or slow. Tee boxes and fairways were decent. Some tricky areas to get beyond.
Good time
Have been wanting to play here for several years, but never wanted to invest the 45 minutes to drive. I found the course to be enjoyable, in decent condition with good fairway grass and nicely kept greens. They did some over seeding, the clientele and management appear to make a good attempt at keeping conditions good. The course is moderately challenging with a mixture of lengths, a few forced carry's, good amount of penal waste areas, and above average size of greens with multiple shelves. The variety of tee box lengths is better than average and does a good job of creating a challenge for many different skill levels and ages. For the price, a good value.
Closest course to me
Played here several times, course in good condition, pleasant staff and reasonable rates. Everything I like about a course. Will definately keep this on my list to play.
