DO NOT PLAY
Simply put this was the worst I have ever seen a course. I paid $65 to play. I feel like there should be a disclaimer warning you about how horrible the greens are. The layout and design were good. This course would have been fun to play even if it were in an ok condition. The people behind the counter were great.
Run down
The course feels run down, over grown vegetation, couldn’t tell if they were losing the greens or getting them back. Greens are terrible, what little grass they did have was weed filled. Fairways hadn’t been cut, bunkers were bad.
Coweta Club Has Gone to 💩
Almost everything about this course has degraded to almost a 0/10 rating. From the tee boxes to the greens there’s nothing nice about it. Fairways are grown up, greens are a quarter grass and three quarters black moldy spots making them basically unputtable. Also had to help the one employee working pull carts up to the clubhouse just to get him to unlock and get range balls (which are the worst range balls you have ever seen). Overall terrible course now which is really unfortunate. Pace of play was great cause there was NO ONE there…for obvious reasons lol.
Terrible
I give the course a shot every 6 months or so. Most tee boxes are still dirt, the greens are dirt, and the cart died on hole #2 for a new record, as they usually die around the turn. Luckily the staff answered the phone and brought a new cart, because they haven’t in the past.
Terrible course
Awful as usual. What a terrible golf course. Clearly those who own this golf course and those who work there do not care. This course is the worst.
5 star
big fan of this course, and gave it 5 stars finally after having played here multiple times over the years. its a difficult layout for sure, a shotmakers course requiring a player to bypass a lot of trouble along the way -- among the more difficult shots were the approach on 6 and 10, which were downhill lies to 180-200 over hazards. the pace of play is amazing here as its almost always empty. super cheap hot deal rate of like 35$ for 18 including cart. fairways were great, teeboxes fine. greens were fine too -- this course gets a lot of 1 star ratings from the golf snob/karen types, that dont take those other factors into consideration. admittedly they arent augusta national greens to say the least, with many in some form of repair or regrowth, but while i found them on the slower side i didnt find them so offputting or game altering.
to me, to go out and play a challenging yet fun sub-3 hour 18 for $35 which includes taking some practice shots or honing wedge distances etc cant be beat. id like to see this place turn a corner and thrive because its a terrific layout and the staff is always friendly and chill.
Horrible course
2nd time playing, both times the range is closed due to staff not showing up. Half the tee boxes and greens are mud. Weeds in the greens. The bathrooms are falling apart and gross. Maybe worth 10 bucks to play. Minimal stuff in the pro shop.
Course Stressed
The course seemed a bit stressed, I have seen it in better condition, however for the price on a weekend, it was just fine.
Terrible..
Unfortunately, this course is on its last leg and barely holding on. It had been many, many years since I last played this course and it has deteriorated badly. I feel bad writing this review because it’s apparent they need the business and revenue but expectations for other golfers need to be set honestly. I genuinely hope they can turn it around.
Coweta Club
This course needs lots of work. They seem to have given up on it. Years ago it was a fantastic course and ran professionally. Now, it is awful.
Good very tight fairway course
Club house under renovations but a very kind family was setup at the run with great grilled food. I am a pretty good bbq guy and they were really good.
Greens on a couple of holes were not in good shape
