not worth it
Greens were un-puttable....fairways extremely hard....bunkers were not kept up...not worth the value at this time of year...
Where are the workers?
I don’t think I’ve ever played a round of golf before where I didn’t see a single worker the whole round. I guess they got the day off, but judging from the course condition, they don’t do much anyway. I agree with the prior reviews. Greens, sand traps, tee boxes, and rough are all neglected. The fairways are decent, but that is it.
Coweta Club Won't be open long
Used to be a god track, Now, play it while you can for $30 it won't be here long. Bunkers need sand and the grass cut. Nice clubhouse but the only thing open is the golf shop. restaurant and bar hasn't been open in years.
Feel sorry for the people that built nice homes here when this course closes their home values will drop as well.
Is it worth $27?
The Coweta Club at Arbor Springs is the perfect golf course if you are looking to play fast, while also ending up losing 10 golf balls. We aren’t playing in tne US Open so there really shouldn’t be a reason it’s next to impossible to find your ball in the rough. The greens themselves were just aerated & you there were weeds everywhere. It was quite literally putting on sand. Lastly, our golf cart died on the beginning of the 18th, which was around 4:30. We called the club house but they were already closed, on a friday? As of right now the course is crap, but if you don’t care and are okay with spending $27 just to regret it, by all means is this the course for you.
Course has changed
When get to the first tee noticeable that the course Maintenance is needed. Bunkers not in good shape and some have no sand along with grass growing in them. The greens are barking for help. They are letting go the fairways. If your shot is not on the fairway, you are not going to find your ball. It is painful. They must have other plans for this course, it is not golf.
Greens were being aerated without notice. Had to skip the 10th due to a 4 group backup from pace of play issues
What a letdown
The greens were more sand and weeds than grass. If you hit your ball off the fairway, no chance you find it. Completely over grown and disappointing. Our cart died on the back nine and when we called the club house, there was no answer. Neither myself or my partner had walking bags so we had to carry cart bags back to the car. Pitiful considering other options around the area.
Greens are trashed. Grass died then they plugged and sanded. Impossible to putt.
Tee boxes pretty shabby
Nice course played many times but they were aerating greens so I guess they were too short staffed to cut the grass. I would still recommend the course
Tee boxes pretty shabby
I have enjoyed numerous good rounds at this course on this particular occasion however tee boxes were very much in need of cutting. We were hitting driver with grass as high or sometimes higher than out tees. They were aerating the greens so maybe short staffed for tee box maintenance. Overall I do recommend this course
Used to be an absolute gem
The course has changed a lot since I played last. Worth every penny on a hot deal or hot deals last year. The course and just about everything isn’t as manicured anymore. The pro shop has much less merchandise. They removed most of the cart restricting parts, so people drive almost right up the the greens.
TLDR: Worth $20 a round today. Used to be worth every penny of $40. Sad to see the course go downhill. Hope it gets some funding and returns to older standards.
Course needs work
The layout is nice. When get to the first tee noticeable that the course Maintenance is needed. Bunkers not in good shape and some have no sand along with grass growing in them. Off the fairway deep rough balls unfindable.Green recently punched.
Need a lot of work
I have played this course many times, but it is not in good condition now. When you drive up the course looks closed. They just aerated the greens. Only nine holes are open. My advice to everyone is to wait until April to play the course.
Terrible condition
The course was overgrown and the greens were in bad shape. A lot of weeds and fungus on the greens. Only was able to play the back nine because they were punching the greens on the front.
Course not taken care of
Obviously Covid has affected this course as the course was in terrible shape. Possibly they just don’t have the needed resources to keep it up. The greens were dead, fairways were cut but anything off the fairway was at least 3-4 inches deep. If you hit off line at all, you would not find your ball.
