Do not play. Should be out of business
Do not pay to play this course. Played 4/1 and they obviously haven't watered in 6+ months. All grass was dead, tee boxes were dirt. I stopped after 4 holes it was so bad. Bad enough to write my 1st review
Hilly and challenging course
The course is hilly, but the fairways are wide and open. It is a challenging course, but if you are not scoring, the course can offer great fun. My wife and I always enjoy playing here.
Not worth the money
This was my first time playing here. The greens were probably the only think decent about the course. Course layout wasn’t terrible just a bit confusing at times. The young gentlemen working there were nice but when i requested range balls they just simply stated they were out. The tee boxes in this course were horrendous. To be fair it rained a lot the day before but the shape those tee boxes were in was bad before the rain you could tell. Very few tee boxes had actual grass most were sand. For 50 dollars for 18 I’ll take my money else where.
Fair
Not a lot of grass, especially t boxes. Played a lot nicer for the money.. very few refreshment choices.
Please Give the Course some Care!
The Coweta Club is a handicap challenging round of golf. I enjoy playing mainly because of the convenience of living in the Arbor Springs Community.
Unfortunately parts of the course - tee boxes and cart paths are desperately in need of some care! It certainly takes away from the enjoyment of a challenging course when the tee boxes are virtually grass less and the conditions of the cart paths are a detriment to the golf cart and possibly the safety of the passengers.
I'm also disappointed in the certain Golfing Clientele that show no respect to the Club nor fellow golfers by vanalizing the property with their discarted garbage, mainly beer cans and snack wrappers! Its a beautiful piece of property with great senery being ruined by more than a few careless people.
I know that the Club has a maintenace budget and the necessary repairs may be a strain to the budget but something needs to happen or there will be fewer of the caring type clientele.
Boring vibe
Only 1 employee working, course was tough. Besides golfing there is nothing else going on. Just a boring vibe at clubhouse
Great layout, good twilight value
Probably the most fun layout in the area. As far as public courses go anyways. Fairways and greens were in good condition for time of year. Tee boxes all around were absolutely terrible.
I think they also got rid of the miserable old man that used to run the pro shop, or decided to hide him somewhere from patrons as to not ruin their experience. Either way, was very happy about that and will start to visit more often now.
Awesome course
The course was in great shape. Greens phenomenal for winter season. Staff very nice. Patrons on other hand are a bunch of snobs. So much for southern hospitality. Smh
