Awful
45 minute delay on tee time because “they didn’t have enough keys”
No Carts
My tee time was at 12:30. I arrived at the course at aprox 11:45. Was unable to tee off until after 1:00 pm because the course did not have any keys for the carts. Was told I just had to wait until someone turned in a cart until we could go off. By the time we finally teed off, there were aprox 6 groups waiting for carts.
Great day!
Perfect GA autumn weather. A Tuesday morning 9 holes before work. Greens were in great condition, Course played well and it was nice and quiet. I played here growing up and it's great to see the course is still in wonderful conditions.
Challenging
Play Coweta Club once a week using GolfNow. Public course, but fun to play.
Challenging layout
No two holes are the same! The course goes in every direction known to man, which makes it very challenging! Great course and will play it again!
Another Monday
Another day golfing - better than working. I have played Cowera Club off and on all summer. It is a good place to golf for the money. Slope is 141 from the blue tees, so very challenging. I am a beginner so I moved from the blue tees to the whites today. Easier to play. Had fun and gained a stroke or two. Greens are recouping from aeration, most ok but slow. I was paired with another GolfNow golfer - Jay, no issue there. We had fun. He actually gave me a few tips. Overall, a great day golfing. No issues or concerns. Oh, pace was good..
Terrible Greens
Although I have played this course several times in the past, I am almost certain it was my Last time there. The greens were unpredictable and had no constituency from one hole to the next. The fairways were nice but the ruff was really the ruff! Lost a ball (stroke penalty) in the ruff just off the fairway. The greens were just to hairy and not maintained well at all! Now, this course has always been a fun & challenging course. I hope they get it together so my group will place this course back on our rotation list! Good LUCK!
This course is on its last leg.
I suspect any positive reviews for this course are paid for. obviously the money has dried up to support this once decent course. I'm not sure if the old dude behind the counter has recently been divorced or what but he obviously hates his job and the people that bother to come into that shop. The course conditions are awful. Save your money and try anywhere else. Wolf Creek about 20 minutes up the road is a far far nicer course and Summer Grove just down the road is nicer and you don't have to put up with that idiot.
