Ridiculous Rules For Golf Now Members
I’ve played this course many times because it’s never busy. It’s my least favorite course already because of the layout and conditions. You can hit a ball down the fairway and not find it. However, today my buddy was told when he checked in that he couldn’t have a golf cart until 15 mins prior to our tee time because we booked on golf now and couldn’t go out early. I arrived a few minutes later and again was refused a golf cart in the golf shop. I asked why and she said because we couldn’t go out early. I asked what if I just want to drive 200 yards back to my car and get my clubs to practice on the practice green or chip balls on the range. She again said no you can’t have a cart to go out early. For some reason she wasn’t comprehending that 95% of golfers show up 30-45 minutes early if not more to hit balls, warm up, and get some practice on the green. I then asked her if she was going to go get my clubs and carry them up to the practice area for me because I wasn’t doing it. She obviously said no but it was more of a rhetorical question. She said this was a course policy that only applied to Golf Now members. Even though I’ve played here many times and almost always use Golf Now to book my tee times. I probably won’t be playing here EVER again and if I did, unfortunately, I will not book through Golf Now. I will be contacting the manager as well to see if this is their policy. Nowhere else in the world have I ever been told I couldn’t prepare for my round 30-45 minutes early by getting a golf cart, loading my clubs, and heading to the practice area. Ridiculous!
Bent greens looking the best in a long time
Tough layout , tee boxes still poor but course plays great.
Slowest Bent greens you will ever play but nice condition .
Good value, don’t tell anyone
Need Help!!
First thing first we paid $50 each for the round which is not bad for a Sunday. The indication that the course conditions were bad is when pulled in the parking lot of the clubhouse. Shrubs/flowers were not manicured and weeds in the flower beds. The place looked like it was closed down. I’m no golf snub but when the range balls don’t match it only so much I can take. The greens were okay but slow. The entire course was hard pan. You were lucky to be in the rough. The layout was tough and challenging. Slopes to one side or the other. Straight down the center your ball goes either left or right. Definitely needs to let the grass grow. $30 maybe not $50. Wouldn’t mind playing again if the conditions are better.
getting better
Greens are coming around but still lots of hard pan on some fairways.
First Time
We played from the Blue tees. Fun course to play.
Rough around the edges
Played on a Sunday, The greens are in good shape, though I think a little slower than other courses I have played recently. Not that golf is played on the cart paths, but they are not in good shape. And that is because there is a great deal of washed areas, especially along the paths. Some serious cart restrictions would certainly help.
Horrible condition
Let me start by saying I was very excited play the course. Upon arriving at the clubhouse I asked for a bucket of range balls only to be informed that she didn't have any. Really? I proceeded to hole one to find a Tee Box that was dry and hard as a rock with very little grass on it. I hoped that it was an anomaly but my hopes were dashed, every Tee Box was dry and had very little grass on it. The fairways were hard and weed infested. It was like hitting off the carpet in your house with a concrete floor underneath. The Greens looked nice from a distance but when you got up close you realize it was just mowed Crab grass. They were extremely slow and only had speed when water was near and it sloped towards it. The cart paths have not been kept up at all, You might as well go off-roading. All in all it was a miserable course experience. I gave up after nine holes not wanting to torture myself any further. I will never play the course again and would not suggest it to my worst enemy.
Not worth $60
Paid almost $60 for a Saturday tee time. Course is in decent shape but not $60 worth. Greens are spongy and extremely slow. Grill was closed which is odd for a Saturday in May. Pace of play was horrendous, almost 5 hours to play 18 because of slow groups not letting anyone play through and no marshal to tell them to cut it out. Starter looked like he may have been asleep in his cart. Seriously, guys: you can either suck or be slow, but not both.
Expensive neighborhood doesn’t mean expensive golf course
Greens look like a 70’s hair transplant, patchy.
Tee times were disorganized. They said we were playing with another group of two. Ended up being a family of 7.
Guy behind us was rushing us while the group in front was playing slow.
Layout has potential with more maintenance and security.
Hard Course
Greens we perfect but slow
Fairways bad sport and hard
Tee box not in good shape
looks like it gets a lot of play needs some TLC
