Simply excellent a lot of fun great layout challenging golf course

This place is the worst!

I've never experienced customer service like this before. I was meeting two friends for golf. We were paired up with a 4th, normal. While checking in, this old man blindsides me with aggression when I ask if a separate cart is available for me. He tells me I can only pay the cart rental twice to get my own cart! After pleading with him about the rest of the world dealing with a pandemic, and that I'm not sure of how responsible a complete stranger is, he refused to lend me my own cart, stating it was policy. I asked where that policy was written, he pointed at his temple and said, "right here." When I booked, I paid in full for a cart on Golfnow. As he proceeded to get redder and redder in the face, he also decided to start pointing his finger at me and tell me "that's what you get for buying the cheap seats on golfnow. If you want a refund, you have to call golfnow. You have to deal with them." I walked out, played anyways and rode 3-deep with my buddies in their cart (The 3 adult men in one cart got a few laughs). Turns out, he was rude to them as well and had similar negative comments about Golfnow for them.

As far as play, the tee-boxes were all unlevel and spotty. The greens were like putting on aerated shag carpeting. So many zig-zag putts. Please don't play here unless you are an old curmudgeon yourself and enjoy that kind of foul company. I would give zero stars overall if I could.

Very tough course working on getting the greens back to standard. Maybe in a month or two should be back.

Love this layout, but don’t plan on scoring.

Tee boxes need complete rebuild, Greens are a hot mess.

Maybe someday they will put in the work because it could be so nice.

Greens just aerated - oh well ! Putting challenging Had a Great time ! Course demands focus - slopes of fairway can get you in trouble But that is what GOLF is all about - to learn your swing / shots and be confident ! Scoring is difficult but it was fun

Good course with a tough lay out. Greens are finally coming back.

2nd time there no range balls. Guy cops an attitude if you hit a few of your practice balls. The young lady was kool. The course tee boxes , fairways and greens were a cow pasture. One of the best layouts in ga. But the course condition and that dude behind the counter are bad for business. This use to be my go to course for out of town guest. No more..

Great round at Ashton Hills!

The weather was a bit cold, but the condition of the greens and the friendliness of the staff made up for that.

A bit of a hike from Atlanta, but will definitely play there again.

Course is very hilly so plan on using cart. Greens were a bit splotchy but that could be time of year.

This course really challenges your skill level

Very challenging and demanding part fours long par fives and the greens are exceptionally fast so I need a little work but overall great place to play golf eat your

cereal

Staff not very friendly, out of range balls the last two outings here. Greens aren’t very good

Tee boxes are almost like playing from bunkers layout of course is good but the greens are the worst in Atlanta surrounding areas not worth money if you care about your score.
