Wolf Hollow Golf Club

My title says it all and I apologize to Mark Twain for the obvious plagiarism. We played on a perfect April day. The course is in amazing condition for early spring. The traps need work but let’s face it, in the Midwest nearly every trap needs work. We are seniors and even though we used a cart this course challenged us.. The greens are well guarded and the all are up/down and a good distance from the cart path. The cart rule on the day we played was 90 degrees. I highly recommend this course but wear your most comfortable golf shoes, and stay hydrated. My hubs and I play a lot of golf. We always play 18 but this course taxed us and we played the last five holes as a two person scramble! We shot 3 over on those five holes, lol. Have fun, people, you’ll be happy you played Wolf Hollow.

Great course and have been playing out there for years. The four of us purchase the golf package which is a great deal.

One concern I have is the amount of tournaments scheduled on Saturdays. After working all week the 4 of us look forward to playing on Saturday morning. The least Wolf Hollow could do is have the tournaments late Saturday instead of Saturday morning. Had to schedule a different course for Saturday 4/13.

This is a great value course that can be challenging to any golfer. Greens can be very fast when they are cut low. Staff is always friendly to work with and the pro shop has a good selection. For the price it's one of the best public courses out there. Come check it out - its worth the drive!

Course is well maintained. Hidden gem in Franklin County. First time here and I thought it was challenging but fair. Staff and GM very friendly and accommodating

This course is by far my favorite course. I love the layout and the staff! Course is always in amazing condition and offers some amazing and challenging holes.

I try to play here several times a month. Love this course and staff. Always have great time.

Wolf Hollow is a great setting. Beautiful views in a pastoral setting. Often plays longer than the yardage would lead you to believe.

Love the course....just wish there was more food options and a cart girl/guy that we could order from so we wouldnt have to stop for lunch. Love the course.....we drive an hour just to play there!!! Totally worth the trip!

Course was in nice shape for the end of October. Pace of play was fine and the people were friendly.

We used GolfNow and made tee times back to back. We arrived early and the course staff said we may have to wait until the scheduled tee time but they did let us out 15 minutes early. Weather forecast was for dry but cooler weather, It rained the entire day before We had some light rain during our round and temps were in the mid 40's less than the 60 degrees forecast. It was a nice course to play. challenging holes that were longer than they appeared or maybe the wet conditions required a different club selection. We would like to return and play a round when the course is dry and weather is nicer. Would recommend playing this course.

Very hilly,some holes you could use a spotter. The course is in great shape, fairways are beautiful,some of the greens are in seasonal shape, rough around the edges.Great value for your money. First time played today but it won’t be my last.

Course is holding up very well to the weather this year.

The course is designed by Gary Kern, so it is a solid layout.When I first played this course 8-10 years ago, it was one of my favorites! The greens were fast and the bunkers well maintained. Over time, the greens have become softer and slower. The bunkers are not being maintained with the same sand they had when the course was new. I would rather pay $5-10 more per round to play the course as it used to be. As it is, for $20, I am not complaining. It is just that the course could be so much better. From the blue tees, this course is a challenge for all but tour quality players. Beautiful scenery and the management is doing a great job at keeping the pace of play reasonable.

It is not the most perfect course as the front of greens are rough and tees are not cut close ! But for the price and the picturesque views and the lay out. There is no where in continental United States you could get a better deal ! “That I have played on “. The staff and organization treat you like you are a VIP ! I got the feeling I was family .
