Yeah I am that guy. Missed the fairway, got frustrated and totally missed on my next shot. Friends took a photo for proof. Photo submitted by currdog7 on 12/27/2012
Worth a visit
This courses has a unique and challenging layout with some large well manicured greens. The bunkers are also well cared for and deep in some spots. The fairways are fairly well maintained as well. The tee boxes are in rough shape but if you have to skimp somewhere then I’d pick the tee boxes as well. Strange & limited distance range with terrible range balls. Solid practice greens. I didn’t use the restaurant because their wasn’t any quick food options. Zero water on the course and only a tiny cup of ice from the bar. 100% fend for yourself as the amenities are below average. Bring ice, the carts have a cooler. Well worth the trip and I hope this review helps someone
Always a great place to play
Bunkers, greens, fairways were all in really good conditions. Tee boxes were a little beat up, but not terrible. Teleli is one of my local favorites and I try to play here every month or two.
The grounds crew is doing a great job handling the heat course is in great shape!
Worth the drive!
Despite being a 2+ hour drive away, my group and I make the trip to this course 3-5 times annually. The greens consistently rival those of a country club or better, offering challenging slopes throughout. The course itself features numerous blind shots, both on fairways and greens, ensuring a dynamic round each visit. If I were just 30 minutes closer, this would undoubtedly be my go-to course. In my opinion, it's underrated as it plays more challenging than its official rating suggests. Additionally, the bar and dining area are impeccably clean, spacious, and offer a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, I would rate it 5 stars.
Amazing course
Telili golf club is an amazing gem in the golden mining outskirts of Sonora, CA. I played on a very hot day, midday, so there was no one on the course whatsoever. Amazing views and very difficult hidden fairways made for a challenging but spectacular round. If you ever have a chance to play here do it!!!
Only negative was All the tee boxes were in terrible shape. The fairways and greens were all in great condition and the pace of play was great
Merced player
Course in the mountains I enjoyed the fairways and greens in great condition the area is scenic and nice.
A good test of golf, shot placement is a must. The greens are nice right now. Pace of play on weekends is very slow and the Pro shop allows 5 somes which doesn't help. I've seen groups of 6 several times which are usually members.
