Shoal Creek Golf Course

This is my favorite course to play hands down. If you’re in the Kansas City area visiting and need a course to play, look no further than this. From start to finish your entire round is very enjoyable. The course is in great condition. My advice for anyone playing for the first time is definitely pay attention to the wind and use the gps on the cart to overview the hole. There are a few blind shots and hazards that require smart shot shaping and decisions.

It was a great experience for me most of the time because the second shots at the green were mostly open. The landing zones had less of a tree population than courses I am used to. I probably saved 3-4 strokes there already. It was the first time that I played there and hope to play there at least once a year. Great course!

Great course, unfortunately we've experienced an abundance of rain leading up to this golf outing so the coarse was wetter than normal. Still enjoyed the outing and will return! One of the best courses in the Northland!!

They let way too many people play for a Saturday. We had 2 people ahead of us and 2 people behind us waiting at all times. That was disappointing. If they could get the pace of play under control I would give it 5 stars. Staff members told us it is twice as fast during the week, maybe avoid weekends here.

Shoal Creek is almost always in great shape and early February was no exception. Great layout that is challenging but fair. Excellent greens both in contour and conditioning. A true KC gem that matches with most private courses in the area. This is the place I take my out of town golf buddies. Got to play it if you haven't. Only thing I'd like to see is a walking rate, though there are some long walks between tees and greens

Though we are deep into winter golf, the course still looks great! The greens were smooth and fast. Staff was super friendly.
