About
Waikele Country Club sprawls across the gently sloping landscape of Waipio, just west of Waikiki. The golf course overlooks Pearl Harbor with views stretching to Diamond Head. The layout features rolling fairways and undulating greens, which are accented with strategically placed bunkers. Ted Robinson designed the course, incorporating his signature water features throughout. Keeping the ball in play off the tee is integral to scoring well on this layout. The fourth hole is a short par 4 that is known for being one of the course's greatest challenges. It plays downwind, requiring a skillful lay-up off the tee in order to set up the short-iron approach to the two-tiered green that is protected by a pond. On Waikele Country Club's back nine, the 17th is another favorite hole amongst players. Beginning on an elevated tee, the hole plays to a deep, narrow green with water and a small sand bunker to the front.

Nice for the price I paid.
I got a good hot time deal so it was worth the price I paid. I expected to get better rental clubs for $70, and they weren’t even in that good of shape. The course was in great shape and the pace was good. There’s no water out on the course, they didn’t put any water in the cart, and there wasn’t a beverage cart so go prepared.
Always nice to play
Other than the pace of play, it’s always a fun course to play.

Must Play
Great course with outstanding views, especially in the front. Tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens were all in top notch condition; however, bunkers were thin with little sand. Nice clubhouse and pro shop. Starters super friendly and helpful, and beverage cart made regular rounds (even early in the morning). Carts were newish, and including GPS system. Would highly recommend you play when you stay in Waikīkī.
Great Experience
Waikele is well-situated and easy to access. It has a fantastic layout with wonderful views, especially on the front 9. The course is in excellent shape, save for the bunkers (which are quite thin and hard). Pace of play was good for a weekday morning. Staff - especially starters - are friendly and helpful, with the beverage cart making regular rounds (even early in the morning). Would highly recommend playing here when you visit!
Great course - average back 9; excellent front 9.
Excellent course but probably middle of the pack for its price range on Waikīkī. Besides the front 9 being a phenomenal layout with a wonderful view of the harbor, the front nine was not impressive and in poor shape. The greens were useless to putt from on the back, ball marks and inconsistent speeds made it pointless to score it. The score is so high due to back front 9 being in incredible shape and stunning. I’m not sure how they were the same course. I would play again if I were on the island again but only if I had already played Pearl (better all around and they just redid the green complexes), Prearl at Kalauao CC, 360 Eva Beach CC, and Prince CC, the Waikele. Great course but there are other that would come first at that moment.
Overpriced for the condition
Decent course, not for anymore than $100 though. You need to pay for a rubber tee to use driver on the driving range? What? Just not in very good condition. Ewa 360 and Hawaii Prince over this course every single time.
Snail Pace and No Service Starters
First time at course. Single player. Since the other single playing with me was late, they delayed my tee off time (3 spots) since they don't allow single players by themselves. This put me behind three very slow groups. No marshal on course to help with pace of play. Greens were recently punched and no notification. I have golfed all over the world, and this outing had to be the worst in the last 10 years. Will not play there again.

Best course we found in the area. Should be the top rated course in area. MUCH better than others. Highly recommend can't say enough good about it.
Great Course & Friendly Staff
This was the second time I played this course. I like the layout and the course is in great shape! The staff is also very friendly and helpful! I will play again when I’m back to Oahu!

Course was in good shape overall. Great pace of play. Nice layout. The Staff was very helpful and courteous. Good value.
Waikele Country Club First Round at This Course
This was the first time playing this course and i had a great time! The staff were very friendly! At the bag drop, the staff offered and took my bag to hold while I checked in. Check in was easy and I purchased a bucket of balls to warm up. The golf carts were nice and there was ice in the side cooler.
I like the layout of the course and it was in great condition! The tee boxes were sanded but, that did not cause any issues. The fairways and greens were nice and I like how the bunkers had sand and raked.
Overall, I really liked it and I already made another tee time for Sunday! Thank you for the nice experience!
pace of play was poor. 5h+ . there was a six-some on hole 5 holding up entire round through to end and no marshal or cart girl on course.
