Royal Kunia Country Club boasts a reputation as one of the best and most scenic golf courses on Oahu. The course is perched high above the Ewa plain, offering panoramic views of the entire South Shore, stretching from Pearl Harbor to the downtown skyline of Honolulu to the famed Diamond Head. The layout rolls across a gently undulating landscape, offering a diverse layout of short par 4s and demanding par 5s. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. Its coastal location guarantees that wind will be a factor in determining your outcome. The signature hole comes exactly midway through the course. Royal Kunia Country Club's par-5 ninth requires three strong shots that avoid the numerous troubles from tee to green including bunkers, trees, water, and of course, wind.

No sand in bunker and i waited every hole to play so slow
Will play here again!
had a 6:30am tee time, i was on the course with a group two holes ahead and one person behind me. once i got to the turn, it was packed. Definitely recommend this course and the pit stop at the restaurant afterwards was awesome
Club rentals
Booked 2 sets of clubs to rent that day. Mine were ok but my girlfriend's were not. Att the grips on the driver, 3 wood, and hybrid were completely worn off. Cant believe they would even rent them. They did replace the set with a little complaing. After that the course was ok.
Came to play again
We played earlier in our visit to Oahu and came back. The layout and views are awesome! Starting and cart staff were very friendly….we felt like they appreciated us coming to play! Definitely worth playing especially if you are staying at KoOlina as it is very close.
Nice course
Fun course but pace of play was very slow. I realize playing as a single there is waiting but a ranger would have been nice as a fivesome wouldn’t let me through.
Nice layout
I liked the course but on this day it was busy so pace of play was slow. The greens are a challenge. Worth playing as it’s a nice layout.
Fun,fair course.
The starter was one of the friendliest ones I encountered-he stopped by to chat several times. The course was in great shape and had a fun variety of holes-no goofy holes. There wasn’t a fancy clubhouse but I don’t choose courses based on that. I’m planning to go back as soon as possible! Handicap 8
Today’s game
Do not waste your money. Greens in poor shape. Pace of play extremely slow. Two groups of 5 in front of us. No Marshall or player assistant. Carts in very poor condition breaks not working . Don’t waste your money on this course
