Course renovation: Misty Creek Country Club underwent a comprehensive golf course renovation, which included re-grassing all areas, rebuilding bunkers, upgrading the driving range, and installing a new irrigation system. The course was temporarily closed for these improvements and reopened to the public in November 2025.

Course was in good shape. I was a single and the starter paired me up and gave me the chance to play with someone with some local knowledge of the course which came in handy with some blind tee shots. Would like to see GPS on the golf carts.

Very Challenging course. Narrow fairways with sharp doglegs and lots of water. Greens are fast but true. Course is beautiful and in great shape.

Nothing too long, short, or crazy carries. The greens were perfect! Rolled well and true. The drives between the holes on the back 9 provide a nice break as you talk yourself into the next shot. Worth time and effort!

LADIES BEWARE!! Golf anywhere but here!
Played a round with my gal pals. The 3 elderly gentleman ahead of us were slow. We had to wait on every tee & fairway. On the 8th fairway the Ranger told us WE needed to speed up. He never spoke to the 3 men ahead of us who were still on the green.!! Clearly the Ranger believed if slow play was an issue it was because of the girls.
Incredibly rude. I’ve never had to deal with that crap before.
4 months later and I’m still annoyed. NEVER PLAYING THERE AGAIN.

Best Greens available to the public in Sarasota/Bradenton
Very good experience. Best greens I have seen on a public course in Sarasota or Bradenton in 3-1/2 yrs I have lived here. Range is better than average and has new range balls. Very Friendly Staff.
Pace of play should be better but this is a tighter and tougher than typical golf course for public play.
