Course renovation: Misty Creek Country Club underwent a comprehensive golf course renovation, which included re-grassing all areas, rebuilding bunkers, upgrading the driving range, and installing a new irrigation system. The course was temporarily closed for these improvements and reopened to the public in November 2025.

Lovely Course!
Misty Creek is a really well designed course layout. It is in great condition - lovely fairways and really good greens that roll very true. The pace of play was perfect with no delays whatsoever. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Misty Creek is one of our go-to courses when we travel to Sarasota. It never disappoints!

Course was solid, especially for money. Excellent value. A true old school Florida course, with oaks and spanish moss, all around. Definitely challenging, with many dog leg lefts, unusual. A lot of deer and wildlife on course. Will be back for sure.

Unfortunately the course has a lot of problems with weeds especially on the 9th hole.
The greens were also very slow and uneven.
The course layout is good but the trees need to be cut back in certain areas to help speed up
play. This could also be helped by having decent cart paths which are absent around long parts of the course.

Solid all around course
Course was in pretty good condition. Greens were punched somewhat recently but still rolled pretty well. They were definitely putt-able.
Good amenities as well, saw the cart girl 3 times and the ranger once who sped up the people in front of us. The staff was all very friendly.
Have played here about 5 times now and will definitely return again!

The course is a great layout, but was super dried out. Needs irrigation. Bunkers were not groomed.
Better to play in the fall/winter months.
