Such a pretty course. Interesting holes and in good condition. Friendly staff.

Very cool course among Sarasota area options… weather was cold and very windy so difficult to evaluate course on a normal day… looking forward to playing on a nice day as many of the holes present different challenges requiring thought and planning off the tee… course and greens were in great shape… staff nice… only issue was pace of play, however, it was a bad weather day with a foursome holding up three singles (us) who eventually paired up. Not a big deal, but the group ahead should have been encouraged to pick up the pace a bit… round took about 4.5 hours. Give it a try!!!

But fair. Need to play a few times to score. But overall, good .

We gave Misty Creek another chance in the middle of the week, but after three strikes, they’re out!! Another 3 hr front nine that included 7 total groups on holes 6/7 and this was one of the Worst golfing experiences our group has ever had. What really disappointed everyone was the ranger was there and Did Nothing regarding the Massive Backups……NEVER AGAIN!

Nice conditions and beautifully enhanced since the major renovation! We'll be back!

The course is a pleasure to play. The setting is lush with beautiful trees and well maintained fairways. The holes are interesting and diverse. I wasn’t crazy about the greens. But they are satisfactory. I highly recommend this course.

My friends and I played Misty Creek for the first time yesterday. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The course is in excellent condition and we are looking forward to play there many more times in the future we found it to be a great value for this gem of a course.

One minor comment, since the golf carts are not equipped with GPS it would be helpful if the pro shop gave each golfer a card with the layout of each hole.

We arrived just as the drizzle was finishing, but temps were dropping. Lucky for us, the course was not yet busy (9:12am tee time). We were told about his the course had just undergone renovations. The course was absolutely gorgeous!! The tee boxes, the fairways, the greens were all pristine. My hubby even said it was so beautiful. We saw many deer along the way too. The staff, from the guy at the bag drop who was quick to grab our bags and load us up and tell us about the course, to the guy in the pro shop to the “player assistant/marshal”- all extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back!

First time playing this course and was paired with some regulars - the fairways are tight and the overall layout is challenging but fair. Will be coming back but the pace of play was super slow. On #9 tee box our group arrived to find a group on the green, a group in the fairway, and a group on the tee box. Thankfully some of these groups were only playing 9 holes so the back 9 really opened up.

First of all, I love the layout, the views and course but ultimately it comes down to the greens. Why I’m writing such a scathing review? Bc there is nothing worse than green speeds changing from one hole to the next and at Misty Creek it was severe. And I know they just redid them making them hard. Ive played greens when they were new….Soleta, LWR, LWR National…..it’s expected the greens to be hard but these are like trampolines. For $70 fine but to charge $120 for those greens I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I’ve played every single private and public course in the area and Misty Creek takes the cake as worst greens experience. River Wilderness way worse green shape but at least they r all the same speed. Again, gorgeous course, but unless they make necessary changes very hard pass to go back.

Weather was bit great. Course and the staff were excellent. Will absolutely play again and highly recommend!!!

Have played here a number of times over the years. Love the new updates and changes to the course. Greens are firm and fast. As the new grass comes in the course will only get better.

Well I witnessed something I’ve Never seen on Any golf course before……4 groups on the same par3 at the sametime - #7! This occurred mid-day on a weekday which is Absolutely Inexcusable. No ranger in site either on the almost 3 hr front nine.

This is my second time playing here and it didn't disappoint. I've gone out as a single and been paired with good partners so that helps. The course is in great condition, greens were very firm but fair. Sand traps have great sand in them and you can tell they take pride in the course. Thank you very much and look forward to playing again.
